Update: Even after my incredibly bad experience last time, I decided to give them another shot today. I called early to make my order and was told since it was considered a special order, it wouldn't be done for about 2 and 1/2 hours. I told her that that would probably be okay and to go ahead and make it but if my group decided not to wait I would call her right back. I was very clear that it shouldn't be a problem but that I would let her know immediately if it was. She said no problem. I called again about 20 minutes before it should have been ready to find out the total to make sure I had enough cash and I was told that she threw my order in the garbage because I never called her back. She was incredibly rude and just told me that as far as she was concerned "this was on me." I just don't understand how people support her business when she treats them this way. Very disappointed. We were really excited to have this for dinner. I went in first thing in the morning to get a menu and she told me as long as I called before 1:00 that I could place an order to pick up that day. I called at noon and was told she couldn't take my order because she had too many. I understand getting busy but that was my dinner plan for the night and I had gone in early and was told I could place an order as long as it was by one. Very disappointed. Not a great way to run a business. Service: 1

I was very excited to try these pasty meat pies. My self make pasty meat pies and I was horrible exciting myself for no reason. Very bland in taste, salt goes a long way. Even just a little, I taste the pepper but overall there was no flavor but the folding and dough was mastered. Overall could be way better.

Great Pastys! I've been here 3 times now. Food is 5 ⭐️ always hot and delicious. Service just adequate . 1 ⭐️ 1 st time here the older gentleman was not very pleasant. Acted like it was a huge bother to wait on me.

Fix your hours. Always says open but never is. I went in 2 hours before they were supposed to close; still closed. Use to be a staple for me an my family to visit, don’t think I’ll even try to go there again, it will just be a waste of my time.

I give the food 5stars but the service 0stars so that averaged out to 3stars. The lady that served me was not friendly at all..its like she had an attitude. Customer service is extremely important, I've done it for over 25 years. I will give this place one more chance and if I get the same funky attitude I'm done! And will never go back and will post reviews on all blog sites and social media sites that I belong to, because there is no reason to act this way when patrons are giving you their cash and being friendly.

Went today; place is clean and pasties are home made but taste is very average. Crust tends to be a bit thick and along the edge where the two halves meet it's as thick as a sea rope. Filling is bland, could have used a few more spices.

This place use to be awesome. Since the new owners took over, it has went downhill rapidly. The pasty's are barely edible now. I went there yesterday & bought over 30$ worth of food. The chicken pasty's didn't have any peas or carrots now. The gravy is runny, almost water like. They pasty is breading is hard & overcooked. The potatoes inside were undercooked. The beef pasty's didn't smell right at all. On top of all that, there hours are ridiculous. They are closed for no reason ALL the time. I waited 4 days for them to open to get these. Never been so disappointed. I won't be going back here. I've had enough. This place use to be amazing. Now it's just sad. Someone needs to open a real pasty show downriver & put the nail in the coffin on this place. No idea how these people are still in business.
