Took a detour off the main road for a bite of lunch and were delighted to find this lovely and casual beachy restaurant overlooking the water in sleepy Sines. Ordered the prawn and chicken salads which did not disappoint. Friendly and efficient young staff. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Sines (birthplace of Vasco De Gama), or driving past, as we were. The cocktails were good. Food not so much. First after 20min of ordering they said they have no dish I have ordered, then suggested something else. In the end beef was very rubbery, even though it was medium cooked. It too around 50min to get the food. The taste was good, but the meat texture not so much. Not the first time there but I don't have pictures from the previous days 😂😅 I already went only to have a drink, to have dinner and to have lunch. I think the time it took the longest was at lunch (on a Sunday) Positive things, it has a variety of food that are really very good. The sweet potato chips and the jogo de bola are my favorite ones. The burger is good, maybe not the best one but for what you pay is ok, the pasta seems good (haven't tried) but in portions i think is good. The sangria 🤤 worth trying it! Cozy restaurant with nice view over the harbor. The staff was very friendly. We ordered one burger each which was said to be medium. The meat was very dry and probably cooked way too long. We arrived 20 minutes early. Restaurant was empty. Nice caipirinhas, quick delivery on food, but for the price, it was not hot and meat was a little underwhelming. Service was a bit frosty, too. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but we just ate up, paid and left.
