I liked the place a lot. The view and the design was delightful. However I can not give 5 stars for the service and the choices od food. The food options are quite few for such a kind of place. They should expand the food range. Overall it was great experience for us. I will go there again. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I have been to Papa's Beach House several times for dinner with colleagues or friends, and the food has never disappointed me! I always tried something else from the menu and I always loved it. It is a bit pricy, but it's worthwhile due to the quality of the ingredients. The parking is free and quite spacious for the Netherlands, plus it's very easy to reach the restaurant with the car. During the summer it's fantastic to sit outside and have a drink by the lake with the beautiful view in front of you. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–30

Good snack place with nice ambience. It’s right in the Haarlemmermeerse Bos, one can have nice brunch & cappuccino and go for green walk. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I like the place as well as the friendly staff. However, the pumpkin spice latte costs 7 euros and I mostly had foam…. How can you charge 7 euros for this? … The cakes are a hard pass for me. They tasted too industrial. Such a shame as the place is actually lovely. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Stepping into an upscale restaurant with friendly staff and a breathtaking lake view, you might not give much thought to the food – except in this case, it was a letdown. Our ordered dishes turned out to be a major disappointment. The red fish lacked any flavor, the Pitanda and risotto fell far short of expectations, and the boneless chicken was undercooked. Even though we informed the waiter about the raw chicken and he promised to pass on our comments, no action was taken. While the restaurant's atmosphere and view were ideal, they didn't align with the high food prices and the disappointing dinner we had. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Great quality of food. Healthy and fresh. A lot of fantasy in making great looking plates. Colorful and great for the eye! Service is excellent. I got even an article copy out of a old newspaper of 1935 .’ I love this place and I was able to pay with my Visa. I love the Dutch food here!! Today it was cosy beautiful vibe with tasty lunch. We had the duck and egg florentine options. It was both excellent especially the Peking duck. We got a table by the fire and I think that made the whole experience really special. I hope our future visits are as good as today and gets even better .. ! Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–20

With a beautiful view to die for, this place has amazing food and a very welcoming service. The slow-cooked brisket in the specials is the best I've ever eaten anywhere on earth. The portions are good too. If you are looking to spend a relaxing evening and eat good food, then this is the place to go to.

Tasty Lunch at a scenic spot Our family of five including two children had lunch at Papa's Beach house in Hoofdorp on 29th April 2019. The restaurant is located in a scenic spot on the banks of a man-made lake within a park. The rustic building had rustic dining tables and benches in the dining room making the visitors feel comfortable and relaxed. The building overlooked the scenic lake. You could dine either within the dining room or outside enjoying the sunshine. We were shown to a table that overlooked the river. Our drinks order arrived fast. The meals too did not take long to arrive on the table. The waiters were personable and helpful. I had the Mediterranean salad while two others had the tuna salad. All of us enjoyed our meal. The cost of the meal for all five of us was €73.25.
