A trucker friend and I had dinner here. I looked at the reviews before going and looking at them I said let's go. He's from South Texas and I'm from Southern California so we know Mexican food. It was great the people were nice the only dent was we had to ask for stuck but they saw to us right away. Loved the lengua tacos too. I had 3 and ordered 2 more. Absolutely delicious food!!! Great atmosphere. Excellent service. I am a tough food and service critic having worked tourism for 17 years. Seems so quaint and small on the outside, yet you walk in and wow! I came in for a burrito to go and ended up staying for hours. Excellent service, food, and company from the bar tender. I had the half pollo asado and I gotta say it was worth it. Big portion of chicken. The seasoning was really good. Also got a al pastor burrito and was good too. Only complaint was the green salsa was a bit too watery. I’ll definitely be stopping by again. They have a full bar for those looking to grab some drinks. Pros: $8 Chicken Chimichanga It’s a bit dried chicken breast meat, little salty, and little greasy (supposedly). Added side condiments and you’ll have balanced flavor. $12.45 Steak Taco Dinner It’s a bit dried, salty, and not greasy. They will close 30 mins before closing time.

This place shocked me as far as how good the food goes. I never know when trying a new Mexican restaurant but 100% recommend the food. The service was good and for us going around lunchtime the wait wasn't terrible at all. Scouted this place out on a whim and I am sooooo glad I did! I love a nice, spicy salsa and I was able to enjoy my Modelo while waiting for my takeout! The cute bartender was nice and when I got home I was NOT expecting my burrito to be so big! I split it with my mom and she told her coworkers about it at the gaming cafe down the street, we both were full for $14 12/10 will be coming here again! Food was delicious, full of f flavor! Andrea and Sophia were great waitress’s! Definitely adding this to my stops anytime I’m on 57. trucker friendly hot and fresh food always wins. You’ll see me again!
