Found the store location to be pretty unsanitary for my standards. Additionally NO we aren't giving you 20 dollars for gluten free crust on a medium pizza. At your rates and low quality I don't understand why anyone wouldn't just go next door to Pizza Hut and eat cooked food for the price or down the street to the grocery store for 6 dollars of frozen pizza. 20 bucks for a Calzone I gotta take home and cook? We thought we would give Papa Johns a try after seeing the New York style XL advertised and we were extremely disappointed. First of all the pizza was delivered cold and 20 minutes after their estimated delivery time. It took 32 minutes to arrive after I received a text stating the pizza was on its way. (We are a 7 min drive from their location, and this was on a Monday night) The NY style is advertised as 8 oversized foldable slices, and this is not the case. The pizza was a regular size large with normal slices, nor did the crust resemble anything like a NY style crust. It was their typical hand tossed crust sliced just like their regular pizzas. I installed the app after ordering, and then immediately deleted it after trying the pizza. That was the last time we will order from Papa Johns. With many better pizza options in SF, this one doesn't take pride in their product or service. Service Delivery Price per person $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Ordered a pizza, breadsticks and cookie . The boxes were soaked from grease and the pizza was soggy from it being soaked as well . Called them to explain and all they said is “that will happen “. Worst greasy pizza I’ve ever had

Gotten food before and it was good. Called to make sure when they closed and stopped delivering met with a man being rude and hung up before we were even done talking. Food: 5 Service: 1

I wouldn’t know how the food is because I didn’t get that far. I called to ask a question about the size of an online pizza special. Dude on the line first seemed annoyed and told me that special was online only. I said I figured but couldn’t tell the size of the pizza in the special, could he please tell me. Apparently, he said it was a large, said the diameter, and the number of slices. With two kids in my background, I missed that he said it was a large. I asked “so is that like a large” was going to ask if it could be ordered in an XL but before I got that out he rudely said “I already said it’s a large!” I hung up and ordered from Tomacelli’s, who were incredibly nice and provided great customer service, unlike this person at Papa John’s. With so many choices, don’t waste your time or money on a place with rude service.

I ordered chipotle but got tangy barbeque. I hate sweet and savory. How hard is it to get the right sauce on the right wings? It isn't rocket science.

*Update: I decided to try Papa John's again because the other places have gone down hill. They came through with delicious Pizza, wings, and cinnamon roll bites (or whatever) that you've got to be careful that you don't eat them all in one sitting. Great job! I received a coupon for buy one large pizza get one free if you order online. So I tried to order online. My password needed to be changed, it took me a while to get it to change. Then I custom ordered two pizzas, after putting in the 15 digit coupon code. There were no pizzas in my cart, so I had to put in the code again and custom order the pizzas again. This time they were in my cart. My family was about starving by now so I tried to check out. It kept saying my credit card was invalid. No pizza for us. It's a shame because I love Papa John's pizza, but I'm over this situation. The same thing happened last time I tried to order online from them. Instead of quick convenience, it's frustration and too much time wasted. Food: 5 Service: 5

Not sure if it was a bad night or what, but the two pizzas I received looked like sloth from the goonies, tasted like aspic, and the pepperoncini was essentially a melted green plastic army man. Order was on time though, and the wings were good Service Delivery Meal type Dinner

SUPER BUMMED:( Was in the Twin Cities last weekend and everyone wanted pizza. Since I can't have gluten, I was SUPER excited to see that Papa John's has a Gluten free crust!! It was delicious! Crispy crust and never would have even known it was GF! I decided to order the same pizza back home here in Sioux Falls tonight and it couldn't have been a worse experience:( The crust was chewy and undercooked the pizza had MAYBE a tablespoon of sauce on it AND they forgot my Garlic dipping sauce that I paid for......BUMMER. I was so excited to have actually found a GF pizza that was actually good only to find out it was a one time deal:( IF YOU'RE Gluten Free.....skip it:( Side note: The delivery driver was spectacular!
