I go to Panini Bistro all the time for their AMAZING Salads! That’s why I’m rating this place 5 stars. Their salads are by far the best in the area! My 2 favorites are the Pear & Goat Cheese and the Beet Salad. The candied walnuts that are in the salad are delicious! The salads are always fresh and so delicious. They don’t skimp on any of the ingredients. The salads come with fresh bread that’s amazing! I also tried their mushroom and Swiss burger that was very good! The brioche bun for the burger melted in my mouth. The eggplant and mozzarella panini I though was good, but I wouldn’t order that particular panini again. It tasted a little plain for my taste. I think their fries ok and could be better. Overall, I love Panini Bistro for their amazing bread and salads. I look forward to try more of their Paninis. I highly recommend Panini Bistro in Matawan!

Absolutely delicious food! Always fresh, quality ingredients. Place is kept clean and service is friendly! Can’t wait to keep coming back. Order 2 Paninis. French dip and steak w goat cheese. I wouldn't call it a panini since it was barely pressed. The flavor of the ingredients were ok but would call this a hot sandwich instead. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3

Oh. My. God. Just had the best experience eating here! Our panini was AMAZING. The truffle fries are delicious. We also got french onion soup on the recommendation of the manager Jeff, who is absolutely fantastic and took great care of us there. The soup was so delicious. Jeff surprised us with the Nutella filled funnel cake bites which were like the best dessert I've ever had. Definitely a spot you need to try!!! Won't regret it.

Been on the lookout for a good panini spot near work and finally found one. Small place with limited indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating albeit chilly presently. You will not be disappointed with their extensive menu of paninis. Will definitely be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

It’s hit or miss with this place. Unfortunately when they get it right it’s pretty decent food. The other day. I ordered online and they completely got my order wrong. It seems like the kitchen just doesn’t read the tickets. Simple request. Replace the fresh mozzarella with pepper jack cheese And put the sauce on the side. There was no cheese and no sauce at all. The sandwich was extremely dry. We had it on the Seminole bread which was hard and too thick. The french fries we ordered were soggy as if they were sitting around for a while. I feel like you never know what you’re going to get here. For me it’s not worth ordering again since I really don’t like potluck when I’m looking forward to a good sandwich. Sorry guys but hopefully the owners will take this to Hart and work on some of these issues. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1

These are my guys, I order from here for lunch at least twice a week and it always hits the spot. Great staff, They go above and beyond. I read some of the negative reviews and I am actually shocked because I love it here. The turkey,apple and Brie panini is my personal favorite and when I do order sfogliatelle it’s always warm. Please bring back the corn chowder guys, I really miss it. Also, those Santa Fe eggrolls are bomb 💣 Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

I gave this place 3 chances and was disappointed every time. First visit was the buffalo chicken wrap. It barely had any chicken on it to where i had to throw away 1/3 of the wrap because it was just tortilla and lettuce. $10 for a skimpy wrap with no sides? Ill pass. Okay, Panini place so maybe a wrap wasnt the right choice. 2nd visit…Cheesesteak Panini. Very little steak on it and the sourdough was badly burnt and completely destroyed the taste and flavor. I wound up throwing 1/2 of it in the garbage. And the last letdown was a grilled chicken avocado sandwich which not only had no flavor WHATSOEVER, Was not grilled, had no avocado but was ALSO badly burnt. So i will not be returning. Hopefully its some early business hiccups that they can work out. Good luck!
