Very tasty food. It seemed a bit pricy, but the portions were huge. Service with a friendly smile, despite being the only person, cooking and waiting on tables. We only waited a short time. Definitely go there! The food is so delicious and the owner is such a nice lady. Eventho she worked the day alone the food was very quick at our table and she is such a nice human :) She even gave us some leftover meat to feed it to the eels, and she told us where to find them. My wife and I had this evening a delicious meal at Panda Xpress. And the friendly service did make it completely festive. The suggestion to look at the eels at the nearby bridge was also perfect! Five star food, we split a main (chicken w/ garlic & onion) and were both pleasantly full. The chili oil was delicious! Five star service as well, we felt welcome and looked after. One star music. We were driving pass to Nelson lakes and found this amazing chinese restaurant!! We walked in 10mins before opening hrs but they were very nice about it! We ordered the eat-in black pepper beef. The best I’ve ever tasted! (Better than Auckland!!) highly recommend! Also when asked for scenic places to visit they were great! Introduced us to heaps of places nearby!! 5 STAR!!
