Today I came here for dinner and ordered the Chicken in coconut milk soup $8.95 and the Fresh Basil Rolls with chicken $8.95appetizer. The food was good and smelled delicious. The coconut milk soup I would say was different and not what I expected. It has fresh coconut slices cooked in with the soup broth which to be honest I disliked. It had a good flavor but the texture of the soup was off putting. This was a nice small restaurant with 5 tables inside. It's a cute shop. Pad Thai was good, and they definitely nail the spice levels. But the portions are much smaller than I'm used to. The pad Thai was tasty but different from what I've had. Food was ANAZING! Ms. Anna was very sweet and her recommendations were great! She suggested we try the Thai tea which was delicious so of course I had to get a Thai coffee to go! Definitely will be stopping here again when I’m back in town! If you haven’t been I highly suggest you try them! Amazing food, but the service could be a bit nicer. The waiter repeatedly treats us with an air of rudeness. The shop is a bit cramped and could use some updating, but hopefully this will come as they get more traffic because this place is authentic and taste great. Growing up in Hawaii and living on the west coast prior, this is authentic Thai food, and probably the best in the Summerville area. Placed an online order at 6:00 for a pick time for 7:30. I showed up at the restaurant at 7:30, no customers in the restaurant dining by the way. The waitress said that the order was not ready. I checked back in 10 mins and she said it would be 30 mins. Her explanation was the online ordering system just sent them the order at 7:30. What is the purpose of ordering ahead of time? I asked to cancel my order and get a refund, and she said that she cannot do that, I would need to contact Shift4. What?! No apologies or accommodations offered. Worst service ever.
