I was looking for somewhere to eat. That was more of a Hometown cook meal displaced popped up and I was not disappointed. Very good food, very nice people, fast service. Everything was wonderful so much food. I couldn't eat it all brought her home with me. No nonsense family diner with something on the menu for everyone. I had the bacon and cheese omelet and couldn't finish it..lots of very tasty bacon in a huge omelet. Ordered the pony, biscuits,sausage, hasbrowns, gravy, then 3 fried eggs, all stacked in that order. My husband said the best tasting dish on our anniversary trip. I had the breakfast burrito, eggs, ham,sausage, and hasbrowns inside a grilled flour tortilla. Two things that would improve the burrito would be real salsa not packed and salt and pepper in the stuffing as it is hard to do that after the fact. But very good and healthy portions. The food is good and the staff are amazing. As you would expect in a small town Saturday morning, very busy and everyone is stopping to chat with the other tables and staff. I enjoyed a sausage skillet with onions and green peppers along with A HUGE pancake. The syrup was piping HOT YUMMY! I get my back into my living. That said, i can work up an appetite. First time visiting, i stopped in for a late breakfast with co-workers on a Saturday. They were very welcoming with a down home and friendly atmosphere. The food was great and flavorful, portions accomodating to even the hungry wildebeasts we were that day. Best breakfast I ever had. Hashbrowns perfect. Golden, no grease. White toast perfect. No grease. Just perfect. Two large sauges. No grease. Normally want links, but these were perfect. Eggs perfect. No grease. Over easy. When I say perfect breakfast, I mean. Large plate of food. 1: 30 in afternoon. Open till 2 p.m. Customers allowed in 5 min before closing. Floors, restroom spotless. Great Experience. The food was excellent. They even gave me an extra egg on my play when my order came with only two. There was never a time that my coffee went below half way. And the staff was very friendly. The whole place felt very relaxed and I definitely can see it as a place I will frequent on a regular basis. Wonderful food, great service, friendly staff, and good family friendly atmosphere. To all of those reviews claiming the floor was dirty, it looked great to me. Looks like the floors were recently replaced with hard flooring. I'm not sure what all of the negative reviews were about. My experience was great. The coffee was flavorful and plentiful. Must go! Its only 5 min drive from Six Flags. Eat breakfast here amd avoid price gouging at the park. Great home town breakfast place. Friendly service with a big smile.
