Keep calm and try Indian cuisine. Many people visit this restaurant to taste good onion naan, paneer and chicken tikka. The wine list is diverse, it can satisfy the needs of all guests. Delicious tea or great mango lassi are worth a try here. The pleasant staff welcomes people all year round. Paani is notable for its fine service. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are fair. You will definitely appreciate the enjoyable atmosphere and terrific decor. Google users who visited this place state that the most suitable mark is 4.2.

This review is from my first visit to Paani since they moved from their old location. We had the lunch buffet on a Sunday. The selection of foods was good, not overwhelming. The quality of the food was very good. There were quite a few vegetarian options. The staff was pleasant and polite. The place wasn't terribly crowded and I felt relatively safe with the number of Covid cases increasing. I always overeat when there's a buffet so next time we'll visit for dinner. I first met Vimi Verma the owner of #Paani Indian restaurant in Sudbury in 2012 once we moved to Sudbury. The food was always good but what I remembered was the kindness with which she treated my daughter Pranavi Martinez when she went to work at Paani as a teenager. Pranavi would come home with some delicious dish, that we enjoyed. While we were away in Atlanta Gautam ordered some food from Paani out of curiosity and told us to try it. Ajit and I have never been able to find good Biryani having tried several restaurants, so that's what I ordered..some goat biryani, then later chicken biryani. Both were so exceptional, they tasted as good the next day. Last night we decided to visit the new location, a much bigger restaurant now opposite Whole Foods in Sudbury. Both Ajit and I were blown away by the quality of food. The pea pulao filled with savory nuts was something so outstanding, Ajit who isn't much into rice took a second helping. It's a dish by itself. Especially since we are finding poorly cooked or poor quality rice in most restaurants these days. Every dish we ordered was mouth watering and cooked to perfection. I left a note for Vimi. Even though it's been over a decade when we first met, I haven't been to Paani much. I'm glad we have one more restaurant in Sudbury that we can endorse. And visit. Worth every cent. Went with my sister and her husband with my three young nieces. Best Indian I’ve had in years. The chicken makhni was the best I’ve ever had. Everything we ordered was perfect. Will be coming here every time I come back to visit my sister. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great location, we went there as a friend recommended; however I guess regular dining hours is better as we went for the lunch buffet. It was very basic and for the price point, not a good option. It was not busy and still half of the options were not available and not refilled. And there was not much wide variety, there was lot of chicken variety but not many vegetarian options or even fish. Very less appetizers in the menu as well. The staff were friendly but it was very odd that they kept removing our plates and kept asking if we are done with the food. Please avoid doing that or do it less frequently . May be the non- buffet should be tried to give a better review. Visited early in the day on a weekend. Outdoor dining was very well laid out and a lot of tables with plenty of space for distancing. Service was attentive and patient with us. Food portions were outstanding with a "to go" bag we had 2 big extra meals the next day. Quality was excellent with well balanced flavors. This was our first time at this place and it is definitely on the repeat list ! Value for the money is also excellent , especially in consideration of the portion size.
The Sunday buffet is delightful. I only wish my stomach would hold more. Its a lovely room filled with natural light and decorated with style. Overall a lovely dining experience and we will be back many times. Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Keema Lamb with Yellow Dal

Paani is a Sudbury tradition that has become a hidden gem. In my opinion it's the best Indian food in the area. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the ambiance is comfortable, the location is convenient and the food is excellent. The menu includes traditional standards as well as interesting twists from the house kitchen. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Recommended dishes Garlic Naan

Paani is consistently good, the best Indian restaurant in MetroWest. We do take-out from them quite often, the food is always fresh, ready on-time, and completly enjoyable. Would highly recommend to any who enjoy a good Indian meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
