Beautiful spot to chill. Great atmosphere to enjoy a meal. The location is amazing. 1. If you don't specialize in a beverage or dish - don't put it on your menu. 2. Staff should be equipped with product and service knowledge. Or, they should at least make an attempt to know when the chef's shift ends. Unable to give any advice of beverages because, not only do they have a very small variety, but they are not even open minded to have an interest to what the request is. 3. Management was just as scattered as the waiters. Was unable to do damage control. We waited 2 and 1/2 hours for pizza's. At first we didn't mind as we wanted to explore the menu and had a few cocktails - or the attempt on a cocktail.

We had an overnight stay, and loved the log cabin, very spacious and neat, with lovely surroundings. Very friendly and helpful staff/owners. The cabin had everything we needed. Awesome to also have a restaurant with good food on the premises as not to HAVE to cook for yourselves. We were a family of 6 people.

Lovely outdoor and indoor seating restaurant. Nice view and farm atmosphere. Upmarket and bar lunch menu to choose from. Bar menu prices are very competitive and food is good. Friendly service and ample secure parking. Will definitely visit regularly.

We were very disappointment with this venue. We had been invited as part of a family birthday celebration, my sister having booked out the whole venue.|The general cleanliness was poor, the lodge was very badly underequipped with kitchen equipment, utensils, a ridiculously small fridge. Pipes in the sink were broken( and appeared to have been for a while)and the gas bottle empty. The is also no rockpool or pooltable as advertised on their website.

This was my second time visiting this lovely venue. If you love fishing definitely make a plan to stop by. You're 99.99% guaranteed to catch something. The also have a mashie golf course and horses. The owner is super friendly and on both occasions came to personally greet us. Booking was a breeze and Maré made sure everything ran smoothly. Thanks for a wonderful time. We'll be back soon!

We went there for lunch. The starters were great but the mains were terrible. My chicken strips were fried in the same type of batter that was used to fry fish. My husband's steak sandwich wasn't too great either. Waitress didn't check in on us or offer use any more drinks. She was on her phone. The food took a long time to come out the kitchen. Don't understand since by the time we had ordered our mains, we were the only people in the resturant. This was an expensive place for us to have lunch. We won't be back

Nice restaurant which served great food. Unfortunately due to a fault of previous owner there is no liquor license but you can take your own. Owners bought just before lockdown so have had a really tough time. Everyone at our table really enjoyed their meals. Good value as well. Service was also good. Go support them and help them to recover from the lockdown blues. All protocols are in place.

We had a good time at the Outdoor Arena! It has a stunning view over a dam and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The staff was very friendly and the locals warm and welcoming - we will definitely go back there again. We can recommend their pizzas!

Enjoyable family get away including our 4 legged child. Units built on stilts over fish breeding dam small children need constant care when outside On site Restaurant with full meun supply and deliver quality service and food

I had the best stay in the cabin lodge at the far end of the lake it was so nice and peaceful. The grounds are huge and best part they have Arabian Studs (Horses) it was amazing stay. The only downside was that the cleaning staff was not on site during our stay our indoor bin was not cleaned and the beds weren't made for the week of our stay. I'm not sure if this was the norm, if it is then it's something that needs to be implemented to make it abit easier especially for those staying over for business.
