We had not been to Outback's in quite some time after they stopped serving the creamy onion soup my husband loved.....but we went this weekend and were reminded of just how good it can be. We started off with the Sydney Shrooms, which were so delicious! We can't wait to have these again. We all got one of the combination dinners with Steak/Alice Springs Chicken and one of the Steak/Ribs. We chose to add the garlic butter and mushroom steak toppers which were both very tasty. For sides we chose a variety of salads and the Losded Baked Potato Soup and Loaded Baked Potatoes. Our meals were served in perfect timing, allowing us to eat bread and the appetizers right up until entrees served. Not to mention the drinks - be sure to try the Huckleberry Hooch Moonshine, which is DELICIOUS!! Our server was friendly, helpful, and just the right amount of fun for a late Saturday night dinner/ drinks with friends... Perfect dinner! Our only regret was not saving room for dessert! I took my wife and 6 kids here, we love their blooming onions! The restaurant was clean and our waitress was very attentive and did a great job on filling our drinks and making sure everything was good and satisfactory. The kids had cheeseburgers and fries, my wife had the chicken tenders, my oldest daughter had the Cesar salad with chicken. I personally had the shrimp and rice with a side of made potatoes, one of the kids had the bloomin burger, all the food was delicious! Thank you Outback! Outback, you have lost a loyal, long-term customer. It's probably the last time I will go here. We were in early, shortly before 5, and were seated right away. The first issue was the old fashion that my wife ordered that came without the cherries. Blooming onion was good, as well as the coconut shrimp. Our main meal the rib eye steak, bone in had a ton of fat on it, now I order rib eyes all the time and expect some fat but 6 ounces is bit too much for a $40 steak. The baked potato seemed like it was a holdover from the day before as it was burned on the bottom ( see picture), and the skin was tough, more so than a fresh one would have been. We ordered the shrimp as an add-on, and 6 over cooked shrimp for $10 is just too much. We have eaten here many times over the years and have had good food, but I feel that the quality has gone sub-par and food is overpriced. $83 for 1 steak, 6 small shrimp, and 1 alcoholic drink is too much for me. Lexi, our server, was good. She did offer a dessert to compensate for the poor food, but she shouldn't have to do that. The quality should be there. I would have expected the Manger to come over to investigate, but none was seen, nor offered. This is not just a one-off. Our friends dining with us had the same exact meal and it was the same poor quality. Outback, get your house in order, and get your poor quality food back to your previous good standard. Our waitress was less than friendly, acted like it was a problem to wait on us. It wasn't because the place was crowded because there were only 3 or 4 tables and 3 wait staff. Went on a Saturday at Lunch. Restaurant is located in an odd location. It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday, I thought. The waiter was very helpful. The food was okay. This Outback Steakhouse location was definitely not up to standards. There was an obvious lack of customers (limited amount of cars in the parking lot / maybe three to five tables sat). I have been to Outback Steakhouse’s in other states and this was by far the worst one. We spent a good chunk of money here for my husband’s birthday and were extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service and food quality. We were sat quickly but waited an insane amount of time to be greeted by our server. By the time she came to our table we were ready to order everything (we ordered our meals before the complimentary bread and butter arrived). My husband ordered an adult beverage and was curious to see if she would actually check his birth date and was baffled that she didn’t notice. We ordered the most expensive steak and the most expensive lobster and they both weren’t cooked correctly. Not only was the food not up to par, but the server checked on us once IN PASSING to another table. We finished eating and waited 15-20 minutes for the check to arrive (we had to ask her in passing for our check). The lack of genuine customer service here is truly incredible to witness. This was our first visit to this Outback restaurant. We used to frequent one where we used to live & we're craving a Bloomin' Onion. We found this Outback about 35 minutes from where we now live. We ordered 2 beers on tap, dinner salads & a Bloomin' Onion. We were really hoping that the Bloomin' Onion would be a good as what we used to get. It was great! One of the best we've had. The salad was a decent size & was fresh. The beer was good. On tap is always better in our opinion. It's all we order. Service was great & the restaurant was clean, relaxing & inviting.
