Not my ideal Japanese steak house. Servers were rude. The grill chef was a 16yr old white kid with no skills except the food tasted good. He didn't talk or do anything but cook. It was my kids birthday and they didn't even day happy birthday. Just a dry dark atmosphere with no personality or manners. I won't go back. The kid chef would do better at waffle house. At least there he wouldn't be expected to talk to people and they have pretty decent benefits. He was a good little cook. Hope he goes far in life!

I first tried to order online and no one would accept the order so I’m having to wait on a refund. I had to call 6 times to get an answer. I ordered filet and got regular steak. We ordered extra sauces for two plates and had one sauce period. The food was AWFUL!! Even the salad dressing was bad…. The fried rice was steamed FULL of onions and corn like I’ve never seen. The steak and chicken were dry, not cooked to order, and had no flavor. The shrimp sauce is bitter, not sweet. This is the worst Japanese I have ever had in my life. It was bad a few years ago and we quit going; we thought we would give it another shot. And it’s worse than it was back then. I threw away my entire plate after a few bites. My dog wouldn’t even eat any leftovers.

Osaka in St Mary's GA may have been nice at one point, but it has become a sad falling apart establishment. The table have a wrap to hide the original, but the wrap is peeling off. The servers are too young to serve alcohol and we never got the Sake my wife asked for five times, until she said she didn't want it- they compd her sake bc it came after the hibachi.
Young kids are the chefs, they provide non of the traditional "show" expected at hibachi. They have the oldest and most experienced man bussing tables and the "owner" sushi lady just watched - not offering to help her staff.
Food was bland. Even the rice was cheap in taste, how?
They provide 1 Styrofoam cup from the start, barely a refill provided.
The Sushi Bar, OMG, the fish was not fresh looking, the shrimp was the smallest. And when sushi was ordered at the table, it was the smallest pieces of sushi I've seen.

By far the worst of the worst. It began with a no soup no salad then the worst so called chef an 18 year old with no personility … he gave us steamed rice because it wasn’t fried then undercooked vegetables oh and then topped it off with unseasoned steak so tuff should have been a linebacker then smelly scollops. Don’t waste your money or time with this place.

It was comically bad. It will go down in my workplace travel lore. From dirty EVERYTHING to burned food. I really cannot possibly communicate how bad this place was.
