I ordered take-out at shift change. There were 3 people in the place other than staff and myself. No one greeted me or noticed me come in. I stood for a minute or two, then sat at the end of the bar waiting. The server that was leaving shift noticed me and greeted me. She told me it would be a few minutes on my order because if shift change. She brought out something for a couple sitting at a table and then told me she was leaving and her replacement would take care of me and asked if I needed anything while I waited. I declined and sat doom scrolling on my phone. I sat waiting for 20 minutes. I wasn't upset about it, but the server going off shift noticed I was still waiting. She apologized for the wait, and said she would take care of me before she left. She wasn't on the clock at this time. I noticed a group of staff in the back of the dining area talking. I saw someone getting an interview. I sat there for probably 25-30 minutes and this girl was the only staff to even make eye contact with me, much less be concerned that a person was just sitting there with no food, beverage, or utensils. The food finally came, and it was fantastic. I mean that with the utmost sincerity. The food was the best I've ever received for OTB. So hats off to whoever was cooking that day! Take this review in its entirety, please. Notice that I came at shift change, but the food was still really good. Service can be weird during shift change, and sometimes things can get missed, but I have to say having that one awesome server that just wants people to be happy is a great thing. The steak was well done. I ordered medium rare! They said they would cook another one. I think it was the same steak they just warmed it back up !!! The cook made another one. This was medium, and the kicker was it had so much fat and gristle in it!! The atmosphere was very cold. Service was horrible. The manager didn't really care, or the cook was even worse. Savannah and the manager of this location are the best! She’s very awesome at being a bartender and made great drinks and was personable. Although one of the servers pulling the casual Gen Z attitude towards us and her coworkers, the manager handled it immediately and didn’t see her again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was really tasty and flavorful. Braylon was great as our server! I had the Mexican Queso Grilled Chicken, and the Mrs had the Chicken Fajitas. Everything had a great taste! My friend and I visited this location for lunch on a Monday and had a horrible experience from start to finish. Our server Jessica was not great at all. She would disappear for long periods of time, ask us 2-3 times to repeat things, come back to our table 5 mins later to ask us AGAIN what we needed/wanted. She also got into a small argument with the party seated behind us which was interesting to hear. The service was SLOW, food was not prepared how it was supposed to be with my friends dish missing ingredients. Her burrito bowl she’ll was severely undercooked. I ordered dessert and Jessica brought me 1 1/2 pieces of cheesecake (pic attached). I ordered one. Who would give an extra half piece that looks like it was eaten off of. I ended up throwing it away, it looked and tasted old. The restaurant was very dirty, we were given dirty silverware and water glasses. The booth we were sat at had a major rip in it. Our whole lunch experience was very disappointing. Will not be returning! Save your money and go somewhere else. It’s been a while since we have visited On the border, my wife ordered off the lunch menu with soup waitress told us we couldn’t order that on Saturday it would be an up charge for soup ok then when we got our food no soup we ask her about the soup she said we couldn’t get it with the order after we had agreed to pay extra for it.She said she forgot to tell us after we had talked it with her anyway just forget the soup. We were seated near the door where the servers come in and out of the kitchen you could tell the floor needed a deep clean red floor the black path really stood out also looked like the floors had not been swept since the night before it was 1202 when we were seated Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Honestly disappointed, walked in, got seated at a table with a line of ants crawling around it, everything was sticky, tried 3 other tables before finding one that was clean and 20 minutes in we still haven't seen a server. Ended up leaving after seeing that only half the restaurant patrons had drinks at best. I'm sure they are short staffed and all, but management needs to step in and fix these problems before allowing guests to sit down. Sticking with two stars to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe I'll try again another day and hopefully things will have changed for the better. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Y'all!!! Sierra is a hard worker. She was doing all of the cleaning that night and seating customers and she did it all with a smile. She was great to talk to, hope I didn't talk her head off. I would def go again just to say hey to her
