he landmark in Lowell’s Acre neighborhood was founded in October of 1952, by Socrates and Kiki Tingas & Kiki’s brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Barbara Cocalis. Now the cousins, Arthur Tingas & Konstantinos Cocalis, oversee the day to day operations and continue to provide the Greater Merrimack Valley with fresh ingredients & the best in Greek cuisine. The Olympia Restaurant is the oldest restaurant in Lowell, Massachusetts owned and operated by the same family at the same historic location.

I ordered a chicken gyro with rice for take out for lunch , you can always tell when an owner/restaurant really takes pride in the food they put out to customers, this was hands down the best gyro I've ever had it was phenomenal, the pita bread was so soft chicken was cooked perfectly it was so good and I was honestly sad when I finished it lol. The only thing I will say is if your ordering take out they don't have bottles/cans to go but they accommodated me with a plastic cup with a coke to go. The seating area was big and the bar was decent sized and it was very clean, definitely a place I'd come back to and have dinner with my wife.
