Had an absolutely great experience. We went there as a group and everyone was satisfied with their dishes and with the great atmosphere. This restaurants interior is absolutely beautiful, the ambiance is brilliant. The staff is very well trained, very attentive and very friendly. The food is very tasteful and delicious the chef definitely knows what he’s doing. The overall customer service is wonderful. Will definitely return to Old Steamer!

We visited Old Steamer Restaurant while on a road trip through Namibia, and staying over in Swakopmund. It is situated on the premises of Alte Brücke Resort, where we camped for 2 evenings. The dinner consists of an all you can eat buffet, while drinks are extra. The decor is very authentic, and the food of very good quality. We had a very good time, staff was also very friendly.
A buffet. Simple, filling and standard fare you may think. But wow, your be so wrong. It's a true fine dining experience. Staff unbelievably attentive, chef pleased to talk through every dish, explaining dishes suitable for those with good intolerances. Even made a gluten free version for a fellow guest. Top class food, plenty of choices, just a wow experience. And the price for all that? Literally nothing. Go, you'll be amazed
Exceeded my expectations! Everyone works with heart. I'd say it's Swakopmund's hidden secret. 1. You don't waste time on long waits - the food is ready! 2. I thought it would be ordinary food, but it was very tasty! The most delicious steak I have ever eaten was here (in my opinion). 3. The waiters were pleasant to talk. 4. Nice atmosphere and music. 5. Fair price. I feel that the people behind this place sincerely want to make the world a better place.
