This quaint cafe fronted by a lush lawn with outdoor benches has a prime view of the beach and dramatic winter wave sets. Inside is warm and cozy - wooden beam ceilings and local stone walls frame the big picture windows. Antonio provided us with table side service and had perfect English. The fish soup was delicious and had a generous portion of homemade croutons. The cheeseburger was garnished with caramelized onions and the separate order of fries was yummy and quickly demolished! Located near a beach, the owner was very nice and charming, he speaks English and Portuguese. The food was really good, I tried some regular hamburgers and they were very filling. There is an outside and indoor dinning area, indoors there are flag of (almost) every country. Outside is the beach, you will occasionally see some chickens and ducks walking by. Pricing for the food was good as well. Overall a great place to go with family and friends or on your own! Amazing spot in front of a beautiful beach. Very delicious vegetarian options like the lupine beans, the mixed salad and the veggie Burger. It was delicious, haven’t had such a tasty burger in a long time. This photo is from my gf, I haven’t had the patience to take one. You can see me grabbing the burger in the background to take the first bite. I could eat another one but out of respect to the burger I just ate I won’t. Perfect burger experience.

Fuimos el primer dia por casualidad y se puso a llover a mares y tanto el camarero como el propietario nos dejaron quedarnos en su bar y comer nuestra comida. Beautiful spot. The lethargy behind the counter led us to pivot to just getting a few ready-to-eat snacks, so as to not have to wait what seemed like it’d be an hour to get a simple bite. Then rallying up the amount to pay took five whole minutes 😅 Nice folks here, but I’d avoid if you’re on any kind of schedule. Spinach/cheese pastry and pastel de nata were great. Banana bread was meh. EDIT Forgot to mention the absurd musical mix. His places started with a new age sitar version of oh bless you merry gentlemen, a Christmas song at the end of August, then some Pink Floyd, then When A Man Loves A Woman, and now a recorded version of “it’s raining it’s pouring the old man is snoring. Un buen sitio en el que comer unas hamburguesas. Muy pensado para turistas pero en el buen sentido. La camarera habla un inglés perfecto y es muy amable. Servicio rápido y comida buena y barata (2 hamburguesas, unos onion rings y 2 refrescos por 21 euros). Se ve el mar, está pegado a la playa.
