Great restaurant. Truly exceptional food. I had the Thai chicken with nuts. Hubby had the chilli chicken pasta. We both felt like licking our plates. Our waiter, Storm, was great with an excellent sense of humour and great recommendations. Highly recommended. We will be back to try the cheesecake. This place is centre of town and parking can be an issue. Reservation recommended to avoid disappointment. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had the Sushi quality Tuna Verde. It was excellent indeed. The restaurant was very busy and I guess that is why the service could have been faster. The Ribeye with Gorgonzola sauce and the cajun wedges was really sensational! The sole with the baby squids as well! Try this with a good merlot and you will not be dissapointed! A lovely family dinner. We all found something that we loved. The Cuban style salmon was excellent. The Tuna was a large portion and couldn't finish. Burger was really yummy! Despite construction going on that has taken a large portion of the view this restaurant still has a great view. The menu is very innovative and I was particularly impressed with their watermelon salad that they substituted with strawberry at the time I was there. Very refreshing. What a fantastic find. It was not the first choice but because there were power outages and a general strike, one of the few establishments to continue was 1989. They were short staffed but this communicated up front, so they managed all the patrons expectations. The food is simply awesome. I had a surf and turf burger. Homemade patty with cheese, prawns and smoked bacon and maple syrup. The combination was superb. They make a homemade sorbet and seeing the number of orders around the room it must be very good. The menu seems a but pricey but it is without doubt value for money. I will definitely be back to try something else. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person R 450–500

the food was pretty good although a few details were missing. wish the salad would’ve had a dressing on the side and the curry could’ve been served with a bit more rice. otherwise a wide selection of food, something for every taste :)

Lovely views of the bay. Food was good. The kingklip was stunning. Rather a small portion. The milkshakes are really out of this world and something different. Brownie with pistachio ice cream- it's been a long time since having such a top class dessert. The burgers looked mouth watering. I think it would be worth starving myself for a day just to indulge in on. Prices are a bit over the top for what you get though. Place was busy when we arrived, lucky we had booked. We had to wait a long time for the food to arrive and some strips of beef had a bit too much fat for my liking, and my side order of mash has lumps in. My co-diners said their food was fine. Great service despite load shedding and reduced staff due to a taxi strike. Had a burger and sweet potato fries which were good and the seared tuna was also good. Would definitely go back for a relaxed meal in Plett. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
