We were in Taiwan visiting and of course I had to try this place not only because it was in the show I got to watch on Netflix 一千個晚安, but we love izakyas. This place did not disappoint! You need to make a reservation. We could of stayed there for hours eating and drinking. This place has a friendly, cozy, and lively atmosphere. Staff is so friendly, especially the owner or main host. He was so welcoming to us. We loved this place so much that we made a second reservation for the following weekend. Everything we tasted was amazing. My favorites were the steak, pork, giant shrimp, and squash skewers. I also absolutely loved the thin sliced trumpet mushrooms that were battered and fried. The seasoning on these mushrooms was addicting! I wish I knew what this simple seasoning was on top. Another favorite of mine was the kinako mochi!!! If we lived in Taiwan this would definitely be a regular restaurant for us! I can’t wait to get back to Taiwan and get some more of these delicious food! This is a cozy place with a lively vibe. The staff were nice, attentive and recommended good sake. Both food and drinks are delicate and creative. Highly recommend this izakaya in a quiet street corner if youre looking for a place to hang out and drink with friends after work or just want to enjoy good japanese food. This tiny but cozy place can easily put you into an atmosphere of casual and relaxing. The hospitality of crews and the professional recommendation of Sake are so attractive. Both food and drinks are so delicate and creative. Don’t miss this izakaya in the quite street corner.
