Stop reading this and just spend an evening at Nag Kantoor. De Wet and his son Christaan are masters at creating an atmosphere I suspect, will be very hard to beat. Craft beer on tap, smal and quaint with a mind-blowing display of SA’s political history painstakingly exhibited by DeWet from years of being an author and political journalist. Make sure you check times as Nag Kantoor is only open Wed to Sun and food only served on weekends.

Congratulations to De Wet Potgieter with the amazing 'Kuierkroeg' he created in an idyllic little town. Fantastic ambience! The museum is a rare trip down memory lane. Well done. Worth a visit!

What a discovery! Misty evening surrounded by an astounding record of our country's history on the walls and listening to the best collection of Rock music in Kaapschehoop and the life experiences of De Wet were a memorable experience. And we just dropped in on a whim!

Nothing fancy. Pub related menu. Generous portions. Not everything on the menu was available. Pub related ambiance and music. Dog friendly. Waitresses efficient and professional. Worth a visit.
