For small town Sushi, the food is pretty good. The fish is fresh and there is a good selection. The rolls are a bit lacking in creativity and geared towards a mainstream American palate (I do not need cream cheese, jalapenos , tempura shrimp or spicy tuna in every roll). But the bigger issue is that their new location is awful-- warehousey and cold with terrible lighting that hurts the eyes and the service is slow. I mean, really slow. It is not unusual to wait an hour for your food and yesterday we waited a whopping 1.5 hours for a take out order. We would have walked away, but they took our money up front. This is inexcusable for modern dining experience. If you can't serve folks within a half hour of arrival something is wrong with your kitchen. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
This is our go-to spot for the BEST sushi in town! The employees are very kind and welcoming. The menu has plenty of options, and so far, everything I have tried has been delicious! 10/10 would recommend. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We loved their old location but this one takes the cake! My husband and I agree that this is still the best sushi we have had so far. Their Crunchy Spicy Salmon roll and the Hyabusa roll are both stellar you can't go wrong with either. The staff is friendly and was very attentive. Back in 2004 I married my Sweetie at Musashi at their old location on the other end of H Street. The owner, Rich and one of his sushi chefs were our witnesses. We’ve been raging fans for over 20 years and have always enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. Tonight, we were shooed out of there just after paying our $170 bill because they “needed the table for another reservation”. Bye bye Musashi. You’ve become too cool for me. You’ve just turned a raging fan into someone you’ll never see again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Sashimi bento box was worth the $28 price. There were four large pieces each of smoked salmon, tuna, and hamachi. The ambiance was unconventional for a sushi bar, but okay. They also have a full bar. We had reservations for four people at 6pm. We were given a table immediately. Our server Devin (I think was his name), was very attentive and efficient, and had a great personality! We ordered enough varieties of sushi to satisfy the four of us. Everything we had was beautifully prepared and really delicious! It was a very special dinner out! Not to shabby but not spectacular. From classic to creative a whole plethora of sushi choices. I found the rolls to be too tight and therefore dense tasting. Great friendly service but unfortunately inattentive. We did show up during a rush however so they may be better with less folks in there.

The food here is the best in town for Sushi. We are here for lunch today and the waitress staff is always super nice. The restaurant is clean but decorations are kind of all over the place. I wish the decorations would be more cohesive like I'm use to and not just thrown together looking. It has a lot of nothing style but they tried. Fresh paint and a more Asian complete look would be an awesome little place. We have been coming here since -- I think 2009 or longer. They have a nice lunch menu with great prices. The great thing about sushi here is its not all sauce or rice. You get a nice fillet and wasabi on your pieces. The food is always good!
