This was my first time actually going into the establishment to eat. I've ordered Doordash before, but I must say I like the vibe. Our server was extremely nice and helpful when it came to ordering and the big margarita was a plus and it was stout! I didn't have High hopes on Mugshots...Basic Sports restaurant with tons of TVs. Our server, Emily was attentive to our needs. I ordered the Comeback Burger and beer batter fries. Burger was awesome. Fries were ok. The Queso Cheese dip was good not great. I'm giving the 5 stars bc of the burger. Very good prices. Food was pretty good. Service was not great. With gratuity already included she really didn’t care. Didn’t have a fork for a while for my hamburger steak. Then wasn’t asked if I wanted desert. Gave me my ticket and I asked if I could order desert. I was told well we are just really busy right now. I told her to forget it then. It was my birthday dinner. Not such a good first impression, no smile, zero personality from hostess, looks like she'd rather be anywhere but here, almost walked out. But the food was worth staying. We always make a point to eat here if we’re coming through Tupelo. Some of the best burgers. This trip I ordered the A1 Steak Burger, definitely recommend, it was delicious. I do wish there had been just a bit more sauce on it, I feel like I didn’t really get to the sauce until the middle of the burger. The beer battered fries were excellent like always. My husband ordered the Texan, says it was great. Our kids had the grilled cheese and the chicken strip basket. Both were great in terms of quality and quantity. We also had the fried pickles as an appetizer, those were also good. We also took advantage of happy hour. Our waitress didn’t know the wines or drinks that were part of happy hour, but she did find out for us. She even got me the name of the wine I had because I enjoyed it. The wait time for our food was what you’d typically expect at a sit down restaurant. It was a great visit. Will continue to stop here when we come through! Super great burgers! I got the bacon quacamole cheeseburger with pineapples and it was great! I have come before and gotten a different burger and it was also good. I also like to get the fried pickles :) The waiters aren't the most attentive, but I don't really care because I'm not there to socialize I'm there to eat. NO BRAINER!!! Liz was our server... Now I've spent over 20 years in management, over 10 years in the food industry and I have N-E-V-E-R run into a server with such passion, enthusiasm & a FOCUS on Customer SATISFACTION as I have with Liz!! A friend of mine (who's a professional cook) was traveling through town & he picked Mugshots. He was also very impressed with her and the QUALITY of the food. I've been told on many occasions this week when I recount mine, my wife's and my friends experience at Mugshots... You were obviously impressed. NO ~ impressed would be a gross under statement! We were BLOWN AWAY ,😲☺️🥳🎯 The service was awesome, the food was delivered quicker than I thought possible, the quality & taste of the food was superior and the ambiance was spot on. I work part time at a local hotel & referred Mugshots to ALL the guests that were looking for a place to eat! Britny (the manager) stopped by our table, and I couldn't brag enough about how overall impressed I was with our experience ~ especially our server, Liz! THANK YOU for demonstrating through y'all's efforts that Customer SATISFACTION is still a priority!! BTW... my apologies for the picture of the Mombo Combo; The southwest egg rolls, onion rings & mushrooms were SO GOOD, I almost forgot to take the picture before they were GONE 😂 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We chose Mugshots because we had been told it was easy to sub the veggie patty in for one of the other burger options - and it was - so that was great. We also were having a late enough lunch that we caught happy hour, there are great HH deals and the beer, while not memorable, was memorably affordable. The establishment was definitely on the understaffed side and while we eventually got everything we wanted there were some delays with ordering. I would recommend splitting an order or going for something non-fried for at least a portion of your order. Our meals ended up being something of an ode to oil - delicious but a bit too much.
