Once the promenade around the Grand Mosque is over, visit DARCOM. This restaurant is a nice choice if you are in the mood for Mediterranean and Moroccan cuisines. Cooks at DARCOM do their best to provide visitors with good chicken, beef and tajine. Many reviewers say that the staff is competent at this place. If you want to enjoy fine service, you should go to this place. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, prices are democratic. The lovely decor and calm atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. Chefchaouen is a very special place, but this spot really won us over. It’s a beautiful traditional Andalusian home, with several charming floors and a beautiful rooftop terrace for sunny days, as well as an antique shop in the lower level. We were surprised to be the only ones there, and given the warm and kind attention we received from Mohammed and the people working there, we felt moved to leave them this review. The food is wonderful and feels fresh and home made; special mention to the Gambas Tajine, when we first tasted them and felt azahar notes, we were sold. Meat tajine w/ plums + almonds, the soups, carrot + orange salad…. All was great. Simple and warm, nutritious food. Oh and PLEASE order the lemon tart. Tangy and sharp, with just the right amount of sweetness. The menu (may ‘23) is a 3 course meal (entree, main and dessert) and for 110dh it is 🔥. Old-town terasse family restaurant and boutique of quality products, just a little walk-way away from the main place. Great kind service, good quality food and better boutique gallery products than on the street-level shops. Reasonably priced. Happy to be allowed back. Liked it very much. We loved this restaurant! We got a 3 dishes menu for 100 MAD. The food was very good, the service was quick and the terrace is beautiful.

First time eating in Marocco. 10€ for a full course. I took been's soup + couscous + moroccan tea. We've been served good. English and Spanish avalaible too. Beatiful place, in 3 floors. Recommended Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fraud and scam. My wife and I asked for the menu and saw a 100 MAD per person prix fix menu. When we went to pay, they charged us twice that. They said it was because it was new years eve. Nobody told us that, nor were there any signs. The waiters cut the bread on the same table where they placed money and their cell phones. Disappointed.
