We're the group of four cruise ship crewmembers who enjoyed your tasty chicken (or fish) with rice, beans and plantains and also homemade cucumber-ginger juice yesterday. Thank you for your kindness and an unforgettable "local experience". As soon as we come back to Belize City, we'll visit you and your lovely family again! So delicious! Out of all the times we’ve had red beans and rice when we go to Belize, Ms. Patty’s is the best! Not at all dry—very flavorful and cooked beautifully. She’s such a gem and treated us like royalty. We had never been to this side of the country. Worth it to walk outside the port just a bit. Meat was good, too. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

We came to Ms Patty’s after a long flight, just as they were packing up for the evening. They graciously invited us to order food and drinks, and made us feel welcome. Had rice and beans with stewed chicken and another with BBQ chicken, both were delicious! I also had the homemade habanero sauce and it was excellent too. I can’t say enough nice things about the food and hospitality, highly recommended if you’re in the area! Ms. Patty's little friedly shack place, that serves delicious food + local made drinks. The place is just 15-20ft out of the Port. Go to Ms. Patty’s for food cooked from the heart! I sat with her daughter and little granddaughter, and had the most beautiful experience hanging out and chatting with them. It was the highlight of my cruise at this port after our excursion was cancelled. The food and their sweet spirits will always be in my memories. The creole food was perfect! I ate red beans and rice, chicken and fried plantains. I wish I could have stayed longer to chat with this kind family. My 14 year old son will never forget this experience as well. Much love to Ms. Patty, her sweet family and friends who were all too kind. Ms. Patty, If you read this, I’m the lady who won the cruise.

I found out about MS. Patty’s by her husband Simeon. He drove us around Belize city for a short while. After trying different rums and empanadas around the city we finally became hungry. I wanted to eat something very local and eat what Belizean people eat. Ms Patty’s hooked us up with the stewed turkey platter. The food was delicious. It tasted very homie which was what what I was looking for. This is the best hole in the wall spot around. Ms Patty was very sweet and humble.

We wanted to get out of the port area and find some good local food and stumbled on Ms. Patty's. We had super delicious beans and rice, plantains, stewed chicken, and fried fish. I definitely recommend it!
