If you happen to be near Pueblo Heritage Museum, you can visit this bar. Indian food is good here. Perfectly cooked garlic naans, chicken tikka and lamb masala can make a deep impression on you. Taste good yogurt, cheesecakes and mango pudding that are proposed at Mr. Tandoori. Here you can have delicious marsala or good beer. This place is famous for great ice tea, mango lassi or lemonade. This place is suitable for people who have supper on the go as they can order food as a takeaway. Many reviewers find the staff cheerful. Service at this spot is something one can name fine. Prices are adequate for the quality you receive. The nice decor and exotic atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. Google users like this bar: it was granted 4.5 stars.

Greatly disappointed on the take out, let me explain. First the overall quantity of the main dish and rice was truly in short supply. The focus on Indian food is the spice, but with that I would like enough to be able to enjoy the spices - felt like I was taken advantage of. Secondly, speaking of the spices - I would like to actually be thinking that I’m eating Indian food. The texture was there, but the amount of spice in the disk was also in short supply. Within the last month I have eaten in person and the experience was good. Nevertheless, from my take out experience - AVOID - and seek the in-restaurant approach. This way the quantity and quality of the food may be acceptable or at least you have a wait staff who could be an advocate. Never again on take out, you have been warned. Food was okay. If this were my only Indian food experience I'd enjoy it. But having had lots of it...I felt everything was lacking here. Prices were very high; naan bread alone was $6, as was any condiments like pickled fruits or chutneys. This is the first place I've ever been that doesn't include it. Their menu states clearly that they don't use curry powder, which is fine if flavors are balanced to make a curry flavor without it... but they just weren't. I got level 5 spice and it didn't even clear my sinuses. It was not terribly food; just lacked the flavor it needed to justify the price. Coolest thing was water came automatically infused. As for atmosphere the tables are WAY too close together. Everybody ate in silence because you're within earshot of everyone else. This is place is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Pueblo. This restaurant is very cozy and they have beautiful and colorful interior decors that makes you feel nostalgic of the Indian tapestry colors. They have amazing Nepali curry dishes. We got the chicken masala and chicken vindaloo and they were so tasty. Customer service is superb and parking is so easy. It’s our 2nd time here with my bf and we will definitely keep on coming back here. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Recommended dishes Tandoori Chicken

Super cool place with fun decor, very good food, service could use a little work. Like most, they appear understaffed and likely by no fault of their own - however, I’m not in a hurry when I go out to eat luckily. Definitely will be back. Very good. We love this place! The Indian food is extremely authentic and very robust with great flavors! There are plenty of varieties for naan breads as well and that made my husband happy. We loved the atmosphere, waitstaff and of course the amazing food! (Which fed us for 2 days at least!)
I would give 5 stars, but my drink was pretty watered down. I wish I could do 1/2 or even 3/4 stars, because they deserve 4 and 3/4 stars. The food is DELICIOUS! Take their advice about the heat levels if you don't already know what you like. The staff was excellent! Not TOO attentive to where you can't have a conversation, but they came by regularly to do refills. We will definitely be back next time we come through the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I remember when Mr. Tandoori first opened. It was around 12 years ago and the guy who owned it was an authentic Indian chef. I'm not sure what happened but it has definitely changed hands. Friends were in town and the reviews were still good so we went expecting an excellent meal. I have never been so disappointed and embarrassed (it was my idea to go there) in my life. The chicken was tough and swimming in red tomato sauce that had a little heat but no Indian flavor. The rice was yellow and bland. The naan was fine. The service was friendly but it doesn't make up for the uninteresting and un-Indian food. My friend's dishes were similarly disheartening. I can't explain the good reviews. Some of them are old; others, maybe, haven't eaten really good Indian. I won't be back. Super disappointing and very, very expensive. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Everything about this place is awesome. The food is off the chart good, the service is great and the decor is beautiful. We are in Pueblo overnight on our way to Breckenridge from Texas. We’ve decided to make stopping here a new tradition for this annual trip. We ordered the chicken Mughlai, Curry and Tarka Dall for our kids (8 and 5 yrs old). Everything was delicious. Seriously delicious. And we had homemade rose ice cream for dessert. It is obvious the chef is very passionate about food. The menu is well written with excellent descriptions of all items. Our server was very busy but sill provided great service. We sat on the beautiful patio but would have been just as happy inside where the decor is really cool. You can’t go wrong at Mr Tandoori. Side note: lots of #glutenfree options
4.5 stars. Considering that this is the only Indian restaurant in Pueblo, I was resigned to making it my regular spot irrespective of how it was. However, my experience here was very positive and pleasant. My friend and I came here around 5:30 pm as they didn't have reservations for later. They are doing outdoor dining and the whole place is super cute, esp with the surrounding buildings that have posters, bar and restaurant signs etc. They've created a cabana like area with water mists to keep the temps cooler. The inside is not open for sitting but I went to use the restroom and found the architecture of everything very pretty. The bar area is also very cute. They have a fairly normal menu. Don't expect chat, appetizers, South Indian food or anything outside of North Indian curries, biryani and naans. They have a wide variety of curries. They also have some great veggie options. We got the chicken mughlai curry, the chicken Tikka masala curry, the chicken biryani and a garlic naan. I also got a mango lassi. The curries were spicy enough for me (ask for Indian hot if you're Indian and love spicy or if you LOVE spicy). There is a slightly home-made feel to them which I appreciated. I liked my mughlai more than my friend's Tikka masala but the Tikka masala was good too. Garlic naan was very good and had lots of garlic. The curries come with Yellow/Spanish/turmeric rice. It is a lot so we just took the rice home with us. The biryani was just ok. That was the one let down. I love biryanis and have had some amazing ones back in San Diego (just moved to Pueblo). So that was a little disappointing. Guess I'll just make my own at home. The mango lassi was very nice and tasted fresh. It comes with whipped cream, cherry and a slice of orange, which I found a difficult to understand. Just leave the mango lassi as is. Price is on the higher side, esp for Pueblo. For the two of us, and the above, our check was $80. These are huge quantities though, so we are both pretty much set for the weekend in terms of food. I see myself coming back here often to try the other menu options and of course their chai :)
So delicious! We got the aloo gobi and roti, as well as the samosas. They have quite a few vegan options just be sure to let your server know. We got the hot sauce on the side so we could control the spice- very good and spicy 🥰
