We lived opposite, in the Eva Lanka hotel. We had dinner only here! Very reasonable prices, good menu, lots of seafood.
The owners of the restaurant, Santa and his wife, are very customer-oriented. You can book a table in advance via whatsapp and arrange a menu for a certain time. Then in prime time you won't have to wait long for the food to be cooked. When the flow of customers increased dramatically, they bought additional tables on the same day so that they could seat all the guests.
The food is very tasty, everything is fresh. The owner buys seafood and fish himself at the market in Tangalle. If you ask, you may even bring something that is not on the menu. The portions are very large, you can eat one dish together.
Thanks to Santa for the hospitality! We will be glad to come back here again.

Literally the best restaurant in the area! We travelled as an 11 people group to Unakurawa/Tangalle in Dec2023/Jan2024, and were lucky to find this little family run restaurant. We spent many evenings there, enjoying the great food and the hospitality of the owners. They managed to make everyone happy, adjusting to our dietary wishes. Kids were all happy as well, which is a big thing! My absolute favourite - papaya juice! The best on the island! Oh, and the portions are quite big, so don´t get too greedy :) Although, you can always take away whatever you could not finish. Thank you Sante and the family for making our evenings perfect :)

Our favorite place during our stay in Unakuruwa. We went here countless times and keep on coming for more. The kindest owners, the tastiest meals, very nice atmosphere, clean and able to accommodate to spicy/non-spicy/child tastes. They are able to pre-order via WhatsApp or even deliver. We have loved everything here.

We almost went there every single night during our stay in Tangalle. It‘s the perfect little place to enjoy authentic srilankan cuisine for a very reasonable price!
On top of the very good food there is this reeeally nice couple who runs the business offering great service and always trying to give you the best experience ever. They are just sooo happy when you like their food! :)

What can we say about This restaurant ? If you’re in Tangalle you MUST go.
The couple, Jayathi and Shante are amazing, one of the best persons we met in Sri Lanka.
It’s a family restaurant, they are very kind and human. The food was SO great !! We went diner 4 times, and every time we chose something different and every time it was very delicious !!
If I come back to Sri Lanka, it’s sure I’ll come back to their restaurant and to see them !!

This restaurant offers excellent food and a great variety of meals and drinks. You cannot get bored even when coming there a few days in a row. Hosts are very friendly and will make a lot of effort to make you feel happy there
