First time trying, heard good things about the food. Owner came out and talked to us, gave out samples and was very polite. Every meal comes with fries. Plain fries come not salted. The bro fries were the best! The red sauce gives a sweet taste while the pepper gives it that spice needed. The koolaid wasn’t my fav, only flavor was watermelon which is really not a go to koolaid flavor in my opinion, served with cup half full of ice. The slap your mama burger was my favorite, burger was a little dry though. The beef sausage (Chicago dog) the end of the bun and sausage was dry like it was left out or not stored well. The grilled onions were not grilled enough. The Italian beef combo was too wet and could not hold it up it fell apart but was good other than that. Would like to see the menu updated with pictures but like that ingredients are listed below item. Oh and played some old arcade games while we waited which was cool. Would go back. The BEST late night restaurant in town!! 10/10!! The chef came out to ask us what we thought! Service was fantastic!! There are free arcade games to play. The food was absolutely delicious! We dined in and was able to speak with the owners. I got the Bro fries that were smothered in toppings and dripping in sauce, the Mookie Big Dip was perfect with aju sauce on the side 🤤🤤 the apple pie was warm and sweet with the perfect amount of whipped cream on top! The owner brought us out some of his favorite Lemon pepper cheese fries to try that were delicious as well! I definitely have to come back to try more off the menu! Mookie’s is definitely the place to be when you want some fire food in the middle of the night. Food is always freshly made to order and wait time isn’t long at all. The man himself is pretty awesome too. I’ve been going here a while but the lemon pepper fries and the sweet potato pie gotta be the top favorites for me. Had to give my man all the props (he definitely didn’t yell at me and tell me to leave him this review 😂😂). But seriously though, Mookie’s is definitely worth it. Tonight was the first time my husband and I tried Mookie's Munchies. I sent him to order and pickup some dinner for both of us. He was raving about the phenomenal service and cabinet arcade games that were available on location. I tried the steak burger with fries - and let me tell you that burger was so reminiscent of grill cooked burgers you make during those hot carefree summer days. Sometimes a simple burger with basic toppings can be really impressive. Fries were also fantastic, neither overcooked or soggy but I really recommend those lemon pepper cheese fries so some extra flavor! We will be going back, probably quite regularly, as we were impressed with both the service and the great food! Seems like there are more items than what is listed online, so take a chance and stop in! My children, friend and her children all ate dinner there tonight. Absolutely amazing food, absolutely amazing owners. I have zero complaints. The food was amazing, fresh and hot. The food, service, and overall atmosphere is top tier ..there’s no other way to spin it. I’ve never had anything like mookies before it’s a truly unique and delicious experience… the hot chocolate is sublime, and don’t get me started on the koolaid ITS OTHERWORLDLY a whole new level of good!! I recommend the Cajun fries sooo fire. The service is amazing and it’s such a positive family environment! Will be returning frequently!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

There is a very pleasant atmosphere when you walk in. The workers have great customer service skills & are very hospitable. It’s nice they have old school arcade games to play while you wait. On top of that, the food is DELICIOUS! I had the catfish & wing ding combo. I will be frequenting there to try more of their menu. Mookie is a one man army in the kitchen. We came in because one of my coworkers wanted a gyro, and everything was phenomenal. I ended up getting both the Slap your momma burger and Chicago sausage, plus a side of Mac and cheese. The burger alone should have been enough, but the food was too good not to eat. It had just the right amount of sauces and an insane amount of toppings. It was perfect. The Chicago sausage was similarly loaded with fried onions and fried bell peppers. Working downtown, transferred from out of town, and was looking for some good food. Found Mookies Munchies and this is the spot ! Good food , actually cooked thoroughly! Mookie puts a lot of skill and effort into his food and business ! Cool brother from Chicago - good conversation, great atmosphere, and good eatin’, no cut corners! About to have all of downtown at Mookies Munchies! Try (anything on the menu actually) the wings and slap ya mama burger - make sure to upgrade to the lemon pepper cheese fries! There’s free arcade machines with street fighter, mortal kombat, Pac-Man and more to keep you or the kids busy while you wait! Come through !
