I recently had an exceptional experience at Monti Restaurant. The level of service was truly outstanding, with the staff providing impeccable assistance throughout the evening. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere exuded elegance and sophistication.
Assisted by Mr. Dovey and his knowledge of the menu was impressive, and their recommendations enhanced our dining experience. Every dish was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. The presentation was impeccable, and the flavors were exquisite.The staff's attentiveness was notable, ensuring that our needs were met without being intrusive. The seamless coordination between the kitchen and service staff contributed to a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

The cooking is very authentic Italian. We started with an unusual eggplant dish n seafood stew. Mains, we had a roasted cod n a lamb shank. Portion is good. Service is excellent, special thanks to Sam, who is exceptionally attentive.
I am glad I celebrated my wife's birthday here tonight. Thank you very much Monti team. See you again soon.

From the moment we stepped out of the lift and entered Monti until we bade the team goodnight after our wonderful meal, the front of house team showed us warm hospitality. They were attentive and ensured that we were well taken care of. They made every provision to ensure that we were comfortable and also ensured that my daughter who had allergies was able to enjoy her spaghetti pomodoro. Compliments to the team (especially Dovin - apologies, I hope I didn’t butcher his name), and also to the chefs for the delectable meal. My favourite was the Pizza Lombardy (as I’m a huge fan of Gorgonzola). Will definitely be back when we’re in Malacca!

Celebrated Xmas here and had a great time. Service from Sam was good, everything was prompt and the view is just beautiful. Food prices are as you would expect from a fine dining restaurant but the quality and taste I feel has room for improvement. Truffle risotto that was prepared on spot was delicious but the ribeye steak was overcooked which dulls the experience. Beef tartare was good but the meat could have been more tender. Lava tiramisu is to die for.. Would definitely come again to try other dishes.

Nicely portioned, beef tartare is fabulous with the onion sherbet nicely combined not making the beef tartare too difficult to eat/swallow. Service is good - no wine list, will be good to have

One word to describe - Astounding!!
We were greeted from the entrance with a warm and pleasant welcome by all the staffs 🥳 our super polite server was Joseph and a wonderful photographer Dovey, was very gentle and soft in serving us.
Food Focaccia bread, both on the house, which was excellent, as the focaccia came with a herb spread!

The scallops just melted in your mouth so wonderfully, outside was a little crispy and inside was just soft as butter

Chef’s recommendation, the pasta was freshly made, taste was filled with seafood
Ricotta tortellini
Tortellini was al Dante, paired with all the different types of mushroom, it didnt come with any heavy sauce, as the mushrooms oozed out its own flavour.
Everything tasted so heavenly, would we come again? Most certainly!!

The truffle risotto is the best I’ve tried to date, a MUST have along with the tiramisu.
The service staff were super attentive and the place is also inexpensive with a high up window view available of the city. Compliments to Joseph who served us and the rest of the team.
We ordered a lot so the bill was about RM400+ for 2 of us, but if you go for something simple, perhaps a soup for sharing, a main per person and a dessert to share, it would probably be less than RM150 per person, for such crazy quality.
Gonna come back every time I visit Melaka!
