I have no complaints. I had the avocado toast and a decaf slow drip coffee with lavender in it. I was thankful they had nondairy options for my husband. It was a very popular place so we shared a table with some people we didn’t know. Our food and drink came out in a timely manner. It looked so good I forgot take a picture until I had already started eating.

So, I'm traveling from Baton Rouge back to Louisville , KY and I did a quick search for a local coffee shop here in Tuscaloosa, bc I don't like chain coffee shops. Found Monarch, called the number it was around 9:40am. Immediately I received a text from Audrey letting me know they will open @ 10am. I thought that's impressive, different level of service. So I took that opportunity to reply with my question regarding their Matcha. Which she answered right back. I knew then I found where I was going. Once there I asked if Audrey was there, Grant, awesome dude, informed me no, she's the owner. Even more blown away that the owner would take the time to answer a question from a random, potential, customer. My drink was amazing, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was great.
I have a business in Louisville, KY and appreciate this top shelf level of service and product. Keep doing what you do, you guys are crushing it!

My favorite coffee shop ever! The food and baked goods are amazing. There’s tons of seating that is comfortable and cozy. It’s hard to find a coffee shop where everything tastes fresh and homemade in Tuscaloosa. Thank you for taking the extra time and effort to make your customers experience so wonderful!

Amazing coffee! Had a latte and cappuccino as well as Lemon Blueberry Scone (freshly baked and so good) and Jalapeño Cheddar bagel with bacon, egg and cheese! Friendly service, nice location and great for working or sitting with a friend!

Was driving through and stopped by here on a friends recommendation and can say I will for sure be back. Coffee was excellent, food was great, and service was super friendly. Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect and every thing about Monarch exceeded expectations. Prices were reasonable also:) Be sure to check it out!
Just ordered a 16oz hot latte for like the 10th time since I’ve been coming here. Today I was handed a 12 Oz hot latte. I said, ‘hey I think that’s supposed to be a 16oz’ to that they said ‘nope - we don’t do that. That would just be adding more steamed milk.’ To which I said, ‘yep, that’s right. A 16oz hot latte.’ I just walked away with no offered refund!
Always remember- the customer is always right. If it’s not your normal procedure, explain it to the customer before the money is taken!
