Excellent take-away spot. We tried a beef curry, a pork curry, lentils and some salad (and of course the very good chili sauce). Everything was delicious. We had half portions (full-sized aren’t much more expensive) and it made for a very satisfying lunch. The staff was very friendly. If you’re going for lunch and are in a rush try to get there as soon as it opens - it’s quite popular with the work and school crowds so there’s a constant line.

Decent food, albeit greasy. No prices are posted so I don’t know if there’s a formula or it depends on how you present yourself. I was there around 1p and there were only a few options left, but I imagine there’s more variety earlier in the day. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Just okay. No posted menu with prices and when we arrived (30 minutes after Google said it would be open) there were several people waiting by the closed shop. We got the mixed rice with chicken and pork and the chicken curry - both of which included splintered bones. Other curries in Praslin, La Digue, and north Mahe never had bones so we were unpleasantly surprised. The curry flavors were fine but unmemorable. Service was pleasant, we paid 75scr per dish. The food is delicious, the servings are also okay. You need to consider that the later in the day you arrive, the less options you have. They make the food once a day. Other than that, the quality is good for the price and the people are friendly there. Also the fruit stand next to it is super, you can get local fruits for a very good price. Nice takeway run by 100% 'lady power'. We had octopus curry & chicken curry, beef with rice and chicken thighs. All perfectly fine and tasty. The ladies packed our 6 boxes very well and we left accompanied by a friendly smile. Tip: get your lunch here when you stay at Takamaka or Intependance Beach. As always, please be polite and respectful and the experience will be much better. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Very friendly and accommodating. Since we don't eat meat, an extra menu was conjured up for us. Totally uncomplicated. The price was absolutely fair, the waiting time wasn't long and the atmosphere was comfortable for a take away. A clear recommendation! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Very good takeaway. What I really liked compared to others (from convenience and also environmental point if view) was that if you eat on site you get the meal served on a real plate and get metal cuttelery - so it can be seen as a very affordable small restaurant (two meals with two Seybrew beer and two lemonades were about 400 scr only). They also sell drinks to your meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
