Food was phenomenal (as always), but the waitress was quite stoic and rude. No thank you’s, no friendly demeanor, and overall it felt like walking on egg shells and like she’d rather be anywhere than there. I’ve worked at a restaurant before, and I was appalled. Possibly the worst service I’ve ever had, which rare since ALL of the waitresses before this time have been friendly and polite. I don’t expect a waitress to be treating me like royalty and bouncing up and down with extreme energy, but at the very minimum a polite attitude and basic manners are to be expected. We happened here on our way to Monterey for a quick dinner. The restaurant was almost closing but we were served quickly and with kindness. The food was tasty and with good quality.
