Tiny cute terrace outside with view of the bay, food and service were both really good. We had Ceviche, grilled eggplant, creme brulee and fruit salad, red wine and Madeira wine for a total of 40€. Our favorite restaurant on Madeira! The food was incredible, very flavorful and elevated. We loved the rosé sangria, the avocado shrimp, and the coconut ceviche. Chocolate mousse was also excellent. Make a reservation if you want to sit on their patio. We enjoyed watching the chefs work in their open concept kitchen. Really memorable meal! We even returned for lunch the following day. Wow, wow, wow. I had the prawns, terrine, and beef. All the food was so fresh! Quality raw ingredients, cooked to perfection for a very reasonable price. I was the first customer at 11:59, If I had of got there at 12:15, I wouldn't have got a table! Do yourself a favour, and try this place out. Some of the best meals we've had during our stay in Madeira! We liked our lunch there so much, we came back the same day for dinner 😄 both times we loved the food, the cocktails were great and the virgin mojito was also really good! The only one place we decided to visit twice in the island! Incredible food, very nice atmosphere and the place with the sea view. I highly suggest to visit Minerva! We have tried the meat, shrimps, the pumpkin soup (this was the best soup in my life) and all the desserts ❤️ The quality of the food is the highest throughout all the restaurants we have been (and we are really careful in choosing). Third visit to Miverna. The is by far the best in Camara do Lobos. This time we had Nikita cocktail. We sharded a tuna bites salad, utterly sublime. 😋 i wanted it all to myself. We followed by Croque Madame, a toastie to you and me , but not any regular toastie, this was a toastie elevated to a superior level. Utterly delicious. We tried most items on the menu and all have been fabulous. Love the quality of dishes, friendly staff and the great view. Make this a stop on you must visit list. We will return. Modern. Reasonable prices. Well designed. Friendly. Great staff… great food. Traditional dishes in the remix. Craft beer, specialty coffee, fruit shakes. All you need. Vegetarian friendly. Good fish some meat. Highly recommended.
