What a great find! Really delicious food for amazingly low prices. We started with excellent homemade guac and chips (free refills of the chips), and then I got the wet burrito with shredded beef and char-potato. Absolutely loaded with tender beef, and the potato adds some nice heartiness. My wife got a tostada salad, which she really enjoyed. Having become used to prices elsewhere in the mid-teens for food like this due to inflation, it was a very pleasant surprise to find their prices under $10. Service is super friendly, and the place itself has a quaint mom & pop feel. We will definitely come here again whenever we visit the Monterey area! This long standing family run restaurant caters to just about everyone, with everything from authentic Mexican fare to a wonderful blackened chicken sandwich with fries. The food is made to order, fresh, high quality and a great value. Service is fast, friendly and efficient. Take Out is easy and nice to try as well.
