Masala Kitchen is wonderful! We had an amazing meal that included a shrimp starter, lamb curry, and panella and, of course, naan. The place is not huge but has indoor and outdoor seating. I’ve been there ones and can’t say that I liked the food much. The lamb in a dish wasn’t so good, a bit hard to eat, and plus to it I felt extremely heavy and bad in stomach. Paid 145 kr. Really good resto for vegetarians. They have lot of varieties to order where I am surprised. They deserve a 5 star. Taste of the food is awesome. Owner is very polite and very friendly. They customize the food as per our taste. Got the best Indian food in Gothenburg. Ambience is descent enough. On our vacation trip through Sweden, we have been in Gothenburg for 2 days. Our hotel was The Pier opposite city center. We found Masala Kitchen through Google Maps. It was so good the first evening that we went there a second time. Nice terrace, friendly service and excellent food. On our last day in Gothenburg we went to this place and it was the highlight of our trip food wise. Located in a non-central and non-touristy area it’s close to hotels and the food is flawless. We had the ground beef wada, gol gappe and Murgh Madras and everything was 10/10. The slice is right, the textures of the naan and the portions. It’s absolutely fantastic and worth a visit even if you’re not in the area. take the bus, cab or whatever and eat here. You won’t regret it. And for the dessert, don’t forget the kulfi with mango sauce! The service is impeccable as well. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

I picked up food from here to try something new and I was pleasantly surprised. I've been disappointed with most indian food in Gothenburg, usually the food is sweet or bland. Not at this restaurant! I got the Goan lamb curry, the dish had a district flavor and it was actually spicy as it said on the menu. The woman who got my order was very sweet and the place looked nice overall. I went there for dinner so I'm not sure how it goes during the lunch rush. The price was a little high but nothing out of the ordinary for most restaurants these days. I'll definitely be back!
