Wait time to be seated was super short. Food came out also not very long after ordering. Service was excellent. He came & refilled our drinks when they were only half empty. Burger & pancakes portions were huge! 1st time ever seeing Graham Cracker Pie & had to get it! Definitely will be back! Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a young lady (Heather) that was great! I wasn't in a very good mood when I got there, but she made me forget the negatives of the day. She was helpful, kind and patient. She recommended the baked steak (good choice) with a loaded baked potato (real bacon) and cole slaw (I'm picky) and it was pretty good. It came with a roll (huge). I had to add sugar to my sweet tea (I'm from the deep south), but it had a good flavor. The banana cream pie was excellent and the coffee is pretty good. I'll go again if I'm in the area, but the waitress will have to be exceptional, Ms. Heather set the bar pretty high. Give them a try, you can thank me later. Second time coming here with my family, so far its always been a good and chill time. I'm pretty sure they give first responders/service members discounts. Correct me if I'm wrong please. Also I ate bacon eggs and the hashbrown thing they serve. I always add pepper or hot sauce but no actual complaints here. If I'm in the area again in the future I'm definitely going again. Stopped by Mary B’s Diner on the way to visit family in Nitro. We wanted a local diner with good food and man, did we find it. Good food, good diner atmosphere and good service. I had the breakfast bowl with a biscuit. I’ve never seen such a large biscuit anywhere and it was delicious. My son and I enjoyed it so much that we stopped for dinner on the way back home to Ohio. I had the roast turkey sandwich with gravy and mashed potatoes. Awesome. I will definitely find a reason to come back even though it is 2 hours from my house. 😏

Nice, home-cooking, American style restaurant. It's expanded some from earlier days and added more "professional" style menus which takes away from the charm of its earlier, more modest days. The smothered chicken was good, overall, but relied on the toppings for flavor. My most recent visit wasn't my favorite but I'll be back. I have to say the food here is out of this world. Taste just like a home cooked meal. It almost made me wanna cry because it tasted exactly the way my grandmother cooked, so the taste and smells brought back so many childhood memories. I seriously can't say enough about how good the food is. My only issue with the place is how small the place is. The place stays very busy so it's always full which can feel a bit claustrophobic. Other than that I really recommend anybody go here and try the food cause I know you'll enjoy it as much as I did. Two of us went on Sunday morning. It wasn’t too busy but we were stuck in the very back of the building in what looked like a private party space while walking by at least a dozen empty booths and tables. Then we went to the buffet. All the sausage was red in the middle, both the links and the patty’s. As for the rest of the buffet, there wasn’t enough food on it for all the customers there. Others setting around us agreed to how terrible the food was. The only real positive point was the wait staff was very friendly and did a great job keeping our drinks topped off and we could tell they felt bad about the quality of the food. We definitely will not be back and really don’t recommend the buffet to anyone. Hopefully their menu items are much better. Average food. We are new to the area and wanted some good burgers. Stopped in today and the wait was awful for food. People all around complaining about the wait and issues with the food. Our food came out after 30 or more mins. And the onion rings were the greasiest I have ever seen. I asked for fries instead, which were fine. The buns to our burgers were so hard. My daughter completely ditched the bun and just ate the patty. I took two bites and that was it for me. I wasn’t going to try and chew through my burger bun just for a taste. They did discount our meal which was nice, but sadly we will not be back. Our first impression was not good and first impressions are everything.
