This is a true tasting menu! Delicious food that can fit any palette (nothing too fancy for those that aren't adventurous) and so much food and wine we were stuffed! Loved it and would definitely come back. Service especially was exceptional and we loved everything but the bacon (which just wasn't what we expected but of course eaten!). I eat out often at high-end restaurants and enjoy elevated dining experiences, including tasting menus. I want to say that everything went well with my experience. Service was fine, food came out fine, I’m not grouchy and complaining, I am noting my experience- Maronis was disappointing and not for me. After having visited there yesterday I can say that it is overrated. It seemed like the everyday casual man’s tasting menu. Only tasting menus aren’t for every day casual people. So this is where my confusion began. It wasn’t as elegant or decedent as I expected. While there were many course tastings, there was no theme, connection or chef creativity. For example, we had sushi followed by mini sliders, which had 3 Ore-Ida inspired tater tots and two packets of ketchup. I was served packets of ketchup for $140 a head. I was speechless. One course was Korean bbq ribs with a “gummy bear garnish” there was no other relation to gummy bears with the rest of the meal (like a glaze or something) yet a gummy bear was stuck on top of my rib and was insisted to be referred to as a “garnish”. We had two small shrimp and 2 oysters, the shrimp were puny and insulting. The menu was all over the place and seemed like the average joes tasting menu rather than a chef inspired culinary curation. Everything that came out tasted good but in our opinion wasn’t worth the price. The positives that stuck out: unlimited wine and beer (no other alcohol), everything including gratuity is included in final price, they gave us sauce and meatballs to take home- very nice touch. The space was tight, the staff wore t shirts, the decor was pop culture-inspired…not what I was expecting for an expensive (and otherwise supposed to be classy) tasting menu experience. The chef's tasting menu, while a little pricey per person ($195), is an unbelievable experience. The wine is constantly flowing and the food is amazing. Always service with a smile. This is a once a year kind of thing cuz you'll be more than full after you leave. We did a pre-ordered take-out of their red hot pot of 'grandma's' meatballs. They offer 3 sizes, small, medium and large. We opted for medium without pasta which was 25 good sized meatballs made from a 120-year old recipe. The round red cast iron pot keeps the meatballs nice and hot. There were 4 adults and 2 children . We added pasta and there was even left overs. Small, cozy restaurant. Planning to try a sit down meal. You will not find a better dining experience! This tasting menu gets more delicious as the courses go. Sure there’s a price tag, but with over 15 courses and unlimited wine you won’t hear me complaining - I’m so excited every time we go! Their meatballs are the stuff of legend. Wonderful little restaurant, tasting menu was excellent from top to bottom with friendly staff. Love the decor of the restaurant, full of memorabilia from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan among others. They even had the music playing. It was a great experience.

Wow! We have been going to this restaurant since owner and Head Chef Michael Maroni Beat Bobby Flay in Throwdown "Meatball Battle" on the Foodnetwork several years ago. A hidden gem in the town of Northport In Long Island New York. Their specialty is the Chef's Tasting Menu. You get a little bit of everything, including their world famous Meatballs. Parking lot across the street and meter parking in front. Small, cozy, and quaint. Cash Only. No Tipping which is awesome. A must for the serious foodie!!!
