We were A tad late for Dinner as the only place willing to take on a table. Food is share platters, and they were all excellent. Pork belly yum! The eggplant a surprise yum! And a large portion too! Wonderful service! Very friendly, and patient with our toddler Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

A triple shout out to the Chef and kitchen team. The food was an explosion of tastes, its freshness and way of preparing exceptional. Having a place like that in Europe… it would be run over… We definitely and strongly recommend to have at least one dinner at the Marina Bay Eatery during your stay at Whitianga. As season has started I think that the service team will become more and more a team … but food wise…. They are already the top of the peak. Went in as looked quite busy from outside - and a busy place usually means good. Good friendly service, nice bottle of wine, and some excellent food. We had small plates options to share - 4 plates between 2. The beef was superb, as was the eggplant. A must try if you are here. Oh my!!!! this place was delightful - kitchen about to close and they still took our table of x4 The seafood chowder was so so good full of flavor ( maybe a little thin but really just delicious) And we shared a few other dishes that were so so good ! What an absolute treat! The food here was to die for and the atmosphere and service were great! This is a MUST if you’re in Whitianga! The stuffed ciabatta should be illegal it tastes that GOOD! Relaxing vibe, oposite the water, with great views. We're able to get a table outside and the food came very fast. The staff were all lovely (we requested a small change to the menu) Really recommend the grilled octopus with hummus; it was delicious and really tender!
