This is a pretty little coffee shop with a tasty menu. The food was amazing and prices are reasonable too. The atmosphere was great with an eye to detail decor. We visited during the week for brunch so it wasn't busy and parking wasn't a problem either. It was a long time since we visited Siggiewi and since we heard there is this lovely coffee shop in the piazza we thought we could visit. Such a lovely little restaurant in the heart of Siggiewi. I visited a while ago with a couple of friends and it was a quaint experience. It happened to be jazz night on the terrace so the atmosphere was wonderful. The food is quite elevated and creative, most of it a spin on traditional Maltese foods or in-season fruits and veg. It was a bit on the pricier side considering the portions are small but as for the taste, most of the food was scrumptious. I also took a Limoncello Spritz which was divine. Apart from the food, the interior design was gorgeous and so fun and whimsical! Will definitely return even if for just a cup of coffee and pastizzi! You can't go wrong at Marilù's. I was out for lunch with a couple of friends whose diet is VERY restricted. I went to Marilù's hoping to find something they will be happy with (and where I could eat without restrictions to my heart's content 🤣) and of course, it worked. They were quick to change bits and pieces of their menu to accomodate our complicated requests, without hesitation, for which we were truly grateful! 🙏🏻 Genuine food in a homely place, with honest staff who mean what they say to you🤍. Food is rather good, albeit a tad limited in variety, drinks are fantastic and prices are reasonable and location ever so quaint. Lights were a bit too bright making it unsuitable for a romantic evening but great for some large event. Tables and chairs were not that comfortable and we got rather tired after an hour. The fact that the kitchen closes at 21:30 was not convenient, but chef agreed to stay on later, which we thought was lovely. The place was pretty but other than that there wasn't really anything to it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We had a tea party with flowing tea, coffee and water (being a tea party I expected to have different teas instead of just black tea) We had a few different types of sandwiches the one with the shrimp was really good and a few gourmet pastizzi (which in other words where just bite sized). We saw this in a YouTube video about Malta and just had to give it a try after researching it further on Instagram! The concept they go by here is ordering several dishes and sharing them, and as far as I understood, they change the menu quite often. We ordered four dishes, including some chicken with herbs, pepper beef and some local veggies roasted with cheddar cheese. They all tasted very nice and fresh, maybe the veggies were a bit too oily for our taste. 😅 We ended with a lemon posset, which was great, and a coffee pannacotta, which was very intense. If you go there, definitely try to get a table on the rooftop, it has a beautiful view over the church and main square of the village!

We visited Marilu's for an evening dinner on their rooftop terrace and we absolutely loved it. The entire restaurant/converted townhouse has been lovingly restored and everything in it has obviously been very carefully curated and selected. The ambience immediately greets you and the decor is great too. The rooftop is a very chill area with great views. The menu is based on a food-sharing concept and we tried out several dishes - all very simple but very tasty and satisfying all the same. Portion sizes may vary between dishes but prices are reasonable overall. Service is good too, and all the staff are very attentive. Truly recommend if you're looking for an honest, authentic Maltese food experience - we really loved it! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
