I have had the pleasure of dining here 3 times. First time was an impromptu lunch date and was absolutelydelicious, second time girl's night with subpar service, but delicious food, then the 3rd with my hubby. The consistency of the food and their product seems to change. Let me clarify that I do not mean their menu changes, but how they serve the dishes. My antipasta salad came out on a charcuterie board with a huge amount of cheese, 5 small slices of meat and a small bowl you use for condiments like ranch or a side with peppers and olives. For the price tag on this alone was upsetting. The ratio of cheese to meat and veggies was totally off. We ended up taking the cheese home to share with our pups. I ordered the caprese salad, which I order every time I dine there. This also was completely different as they chopped it up into little cubes with barely any basil. The service could use a little more help. Please stop having your staff standing around at the bar area socializing with one another instead of watching the tables. I had to raise my hand like a child in school waiting for the teacher to come over. This is a gorgeous small eatery, just wish it would be consistent. I will definitely give them one more shot.

Truly some of the best pizza I’ve had in my life. The caprese salad with balsamic glaze was fresh and delightful and the tiramisu was the perfect finish. I vacation on Topsail and can’t WAIT to come back in the summer.

Handmade Caprese
As someone who’s spent the majority of their life in Italy, I can attest that this is the closest pizza to authentic you’ll find in the area. Long waits, but that just goes to show how loved this restaurant already is. Keep up the awesome work!

San Gennaro Pizza
Wonderful experience all around every time we come here. Pizza is incredible + tiramisu is some of the best I’ve had. We usually like to pop in next door to the art/wine gallery for a glass of wine (we like to try new wines that you don’t always find at the grocery store) and then head over here for a pizza and dessert (and another good glass of wine). Makes for the perfect date night.

We had an absolute delicious meal. The Ceasar Salad was one of the best we ever had. The wood fried pizza was as good as we had in Italy. Our server Jean was great. Will definitely return and bring friends

Very good pizza, looks like a nice place. Taking reservations would be nice during the winter. Was told the wait would be 1 hour. Got extended to almost 2 hours. Ended up ordering takeout and eating the pizza at a wine bar next door while still waiting for a table to open up.

Wow! From walking in the door, service is top notch! Food is excellent! Atmosphere quite a few notches above anywhere else in Topsail!

I was so excited when I read Long Island Pizza- a little piece of home right here, at home! What a disappointment. The only thing Long Island about it, was the price. Tiny portions, outrageous price, pizza left a lot to be desired.. and took quite a long time. However, if you didn't like yours, you could probably share your neighbors because you were basically rubbing elbows with them with how closely you were seated.
Don't waste your time. Staff was friendly though.
