Not sure if the chef had a bad day when we came but otherwise I cannot understand the good reviews of other people. We had the noodle soup and pad Thai and both were extremely blend. The soup broth tasted like water - absolutely no flavor. The pad Thai looked very good but was also very blend. We ate neither of the dishes and left to eat somewhere else. On a side note: there are no prices on the menu so you need to ask.

Best food we had in Phuket. Green curry, pork chili and basil, and morning glory were all excellent and a very good price at 260 baht total. I highly recommend eating here for authentic Thai food.

We have ordered Tom Yum, Pad Thai and Tempura Squids. Pad Thai was tasteless, squids like rubber and Tom Yum like prepared on water. There are a lot of much better palaces to eat in Kata.

Tom kha soup was good, green curry was a bit watery. But those 2 dishes and 2 rices costed us 360 thb! Quite expensive for a simple spot on the road with kitchen behind the curtain. They just don't have prices on the menu (menu is just a set of images on the wall) and we didn't clarify prices while ordering. So it looked like owner decided to charge some extra.

Hidden gem with absolutely amazing Thai food! The flavours are rich and the portions are big. We’ve lived in Kata for about a month now, and this is undoubtedly one of our favourite restaurants. The prices are fairly average (green curry & tom kha are 100, pad see ew is 70, etc.), and it’s open well into the night. Also, the woman that runs it is wonderful. One night around 2am, we ran into her at a 7/11 while we were trying to find a place to eat with little success. She ended up inviting us to her restaurant and opening it up just for us, which just about says it all.

the food tasted really good. but be aware of the price. I ordered one dish+ soup+rice, costed 300 ฿！be clear about the price before order will be better.

Authentic Thai Cuisine (which is really hard to find in this area) with cheap prices. Definetely recommended :)

Definitely the best restaurant in kata and karon.
Mama, the lady that owns the restaurant and cooks is a very lovely Thai lady that cooks with her heart. She is very happy and is a very hardworking woman. Making sure our food is always very tasty and the portions are quite generous. Very cheap and good options.
There is also her husband that helps her run the restaurant and they are very attentive and friendly.
This local Thai restaurant is a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit. The food is tasty, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are lovely. It's no wonder it's considered the best local restaurant in Kata and Karon Beach!
