If you happen to be near Sapper Horace Moore-Jones commemorative statue, you can go to this bar. Among other British and New Zealand cuisune places to eat at, Mad Hatters can be one of the best. After a long working week, you can taste delicious tea. The attentive staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Terrific service is something that visitors highlight in their comments. Based on the users' feedback on Google, this place deserved 4.1.

Enjoyed our meals here! Chicken burger was delicious! Food came out pretty fast, staff are friendly and love the restaurant and bar atmosphere here with a decent outdoor area. They also have great tasting teapot cocktails👌🏽

The food that we ordered was somehow huge for the both of us. We also enjoyed and participated during the quiz night. The girl hostess was friendly too and explained to us the mechanics of the game. Enjoyed our time here..

I went last night for the first time, and thought the place was great! The only thing was they didn’t have a non alcoholic cocktail menu, they made me a “sour” one as I requested though! But I would love to see a nonalcoholic menu. My friend and I played connect 4 from their boardgames selection. They had a live DJ start at 10:30pm. I’ll definitely return in future :)

The teapots were good but the food and service was underwhelming. Our meals all came out at different times, some an hour later. One of the meals didn’t come with what it said on the menu and everything was extremely over salted. Whole place was sticky, would only go again for the drinks.

I always praise where it's deserved, but on 3rd June supper, none is deserved, sorry. 4 person table (reserved) - 2 meals presented perfectly and the 2 person platter was LATER presented AND incorrect! ("my bad...." was the excuse). Teapot cocktails: a rip off... The teapots are filled with ice & then laced accordingly. A good theme & idea but All items overpriced in my opinion & understaffed. No more visits from me.

Love the cocktails in teapot theme, and the cocktails are nice. The food was average, a bit highly priced, but probably more suitable for those eating to line the stomach while drinking than an eating out place.
