Although I feel 50 years too young to be attending this place there is something to be said for good old fashioned food. While other people are thanking God for the quality of the food and staff of this resturant. I happen to think that is quite insulting to the hardworking staff who make every visit here a treat. Until I see God and all his angels making traditional norwegian food in the kitchens, I will praise the chefs rather than the imaginary beast. The food is most excellent, they understand service with a smile and it is perfectly reasonable when it comes to pricing.

Decent food, but slack organising of the place. Quite a bit very unnecessary waiting while one staffer handled the register, and also had to lay up all the food on plates. Quite a bit of queue whilst the customers observe that there's quite a bit of staff hanging around in the kitchen. A bit pricey, and you get only normal servings, expected a bit bigger portions to that price.

Very famous local restaurant. They serve very limited local dishes, you do not need to struggle with ordering. We tried pork steak, which was the best ever. Here is a popular place for local elders as well.

Have had hits and misses here. Had the best ever smoked halibut here. But have also had pretty bland and tasteless meatballs. Pries are good and staff is friendly.

Nyttårsaften vår ble reddet av Lura Turistheim på Sola! På nyttårsaften, når alle butikkene hadde stengt, oppdaget vi at ribbemåltid som vi hadde planlagt å kose med og som nettopp skulle lages, hadde sett bedre dager. Vi satte ut på en desperat jakt etter erstatning. Etter å ha kjørt desperat rundt i fylket en stund fant vi døren til Lura Turistheim Sola. Lysene var av og stedet var egentlig stengt, men vi så et glimt av håp og en vennlig kokk på vei til å stenge ned for kvelden. Vi fortalte om vår ribbekrise og stengte dører over alt. Med et smil hentet kokken fram den perfekte ribben som ble redningen vår. Den kvelden ble fylt med godhet og smakfull glede, takket være den hjertevarmende og fantastiske servicen. Grei plass for å spise en tradisjonsrik, norsk middag. Kunne godt utvidet åpningstiden til kl. 20:00. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
