It kay not look as fancy as Tax-Xiha Bistro And Pizzeria but the food is fantastic and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg! This unassuming little restraint and bar is the one place you should visit in the square in Haz Zebbug. They are not fancy dishes but these rustic freshly made salads, sandwiches and pasta were all excellent and for 4 main courses and 4 soft drinks for less than €35 it is a real find!
Loved it! Ordered two special mains, king prawn pasta and rabbit pasta. Both were really good, but the rabbit spaghetti was actually EXCELLENT. We asked for a Maltese wine and got given a bottle of local wine (made down the road in Zebbug !) which was really good. The cake at the end (three chocolates) was just okay, nothing ground breaking. Service was good. We're staying nearby and hoping to visit again soon!
it was my worst experience in a coffee shop. initially it was written on google that the shop opens at 8 in the morning. it was almost 9 o'clock when a girl from the staff told us that it opens in a quarter. this quarter had also passed and they were bringing out tables more slowly and like turtles and they were disrespectful to the customers who were waiting outside
Service: 1
It is a small but quaint coffee shop in a in a corner in a prime area of the village square. You can not only savour the good food but also the life of the residents as they go about their daily errands. Service is good and with a smile. Recommended.
The food and service are good and well priced and I have been there on a number of occasions. I was however, very disappointed about the lack of covid measures being implemented. All the staff didn't bother wearing masks, one waitress wore hers under her nose and patrons walked in off the street without masks, hand sanitizer or temperature control. When approached by a client the manager just replied that since he is standing behind the counter no need for a mask.
Horrible service, Chicken Cesare salad made of processed chicken and a few least and mayo instead of Ceaser dressing. Horrible experience. The only good thing was, that it was St.Philip'svillage feast and you are just in the middle of the square.
