Went last evening for a friend's birthday dinner, which was a gift from one in our party. There were five of us, but we were only given two service plates for our bread. We were told that there were no more to bring to us because they were "short staffed". When our food was finally brought out (sporadically), it was cold. One ordered a steak done medium - it was served very rare. It was sent back, and when it returned her side of twice steamed broccoli had been replaced with virtually raw broccoli. One in the party had nearly completed his meal when one of his sides was finally brought to him. I was never asked if I needed a refill of my drink. No manager ever came out to check on us or thank us. And to top it all off, it was so cold in the restaurant that you could safely store meat! I literally could go on and on. Once again, we went to Longhorn steakhouse in Tupelo. Once again, I truly enjoyed my meal. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the service from Amber D was excellent. It was a bit crowded today but still it was a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Longhorn for folks who love steaks and great service. Waited at the bar for 5 min and never even seen the bartender. 2 others were clearly waiting to pay. So I got up to see if there was a table because it was clearly going to be faster than the bar. Half the tables in the restaurant were open, but somehow there was still a 25 min wait…. Ridicules! There is clearly a staffing issue or maybe just lack of experience. We had the best experience last night! Deandre was amazing and accommodated all of our requests. He had amazing energy. Logan and the other hostess were so awesome and sweet to us all. The food was also AMAZING. Three of us got the parmesan crusted chicken and we loved it!! Steaks were perfect also. We will 100% be coming back to visit with the awesome staff and enjoy the great food! Everything was great just wish the restaurant wasn't so packed. I think everyone had the same idea to eat out. The food was excellent, if you go try the onion petals for your appetizer. Great food! Lots of people waiting! Lots of dirty tables! Lots of dirty dishes at the bar! Customers were mad! Employees were agitated! Sat at the bar and it took 20min before someone took our drink order. Obviously very short staffed! The bartender did the best they could with what they had to work with! DO BETTER LONGHORN! We had a good experience today. The food was great. We ordered 2 appetizers, both were delicious. I especially enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms. We also ordered steak, pork chops, and chicken tenders for my son. I forgot to take pictures of the salads. The Caesar salad was also good. Sweet tea 10/10. Firecracker chicken wraps with avacado lime dipping sauce was really good also. Pork chops were juicy with a good flavor. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

I am not typically one to give 1 star reviews for a dinning experience. I usually try to gave credit for at least one thing the resturant did well and be sure to call it out in my reviews. You can reference all of my past reviews and see that I am very fair when evaluating the places I review. I will do the best I can to explain my family's experience. The hostess took down our phone number wrong and tried to text the wrong number when the table was ready. We were seated in the waiting area, but even with the wrong number they should have called our name when our turn to be seated had arrived. Instead the Hostess was rude to my wife when she explained to her that they had taken the number down incorrectly and had taken our name off the list. Meanwhile 4 other families had been seated. Fortunately the other Hostess tried to rectify that and seated us. That was only a 30 minute wait to be seated. Once finally seated we noticed the floor was very dirty and had not been swept that day. The waitress took 15 mins to get to our table for drink orders. She returned with our water with dirty water glasses. We did order the shrimp appetizer which came out greasy and cold. It took 1hr and 15 mins for our main course to come out and my wife had to substitute her side because they were out of baked potatoes. For the most part the steaks were cooked well and were warm... however, my fries were loaded with grease and cold like our shrimp. The waitress never came back to check on us and I had to ask for the check, otherwise I am afraid we would have been there for 2.5 hrs. The tip I left reflected my frustration. I rarely ever discourage someone from visiting an establishment, but I cannot in good conscience recommend this resturant to anyone. I hope it will get better in the future, but for now, I will not be returning. Worst Longhorn Experience EVER. I challenge the Longhorn management to reach out to me to discuss this. The Texas tonin was good the steaks were dry. Didnt bring my fires til we asked twice had to wait 30min just to ask for more drinks by then our food was cold. Bad experience will not be back Food: 3 Service: 1
