2 Dagwoods and a Baked Bacon cheese and Motzarella roll.... Damn!!! Took 5 minutes longer than expected but worth the wait. Last night we ordered a chicken schnitzel as a takeaway with mushroom sauce. The sauce smelled and tasted sour, So we phoned and explained and according to the lady that answered they use white wine in the sauce. As we have ordered the exact same a 2 weeks ago we found nothing wrong and it was awesome. Furthermore, we have also ordered their dagwood special on many occasions. Yet the beef patty on more than one occasion also tasted weird and or sour. So that went to the dog and we enjoyed the rest. We did on a few occasions found that the beef patty tasted very good, but with the next order it is back to old methods. We "were' regular customers of this roadhouse, but it cannot be recommended any more. The impression one get's is that they are the only outlet that supply takeaways. I would not recommend! Terrible service! The waiters are often unhappy, rude or moody. Last night was the last straw for me. One waitress was serving all by herself. We arrived there before they closed, we were ignored and the manager it seems, rudely closed the windows on us and turned off the lights without serving us. When I called to the waitress, she simply said that she was alone. She looked overwhelmed and helpless and paid us no mind (she ran off to serve the others whose food was released). I live very close to this roadhouse but will often drive to the one in Birchleigh North. There really has never been a time when I am happy with their service. The only food served well is their chicken salad and ice cream. Their prices are also much higher than the other roadhouse mentioned. A lot of work needs to be done at this place. Do not even think about talking to manager Lynn, very rude and you will not get in a word. We placed an order for regular cheese burgers not realizing we are talking about kiddies meals with no taste at all. If we wanted this type of food we would have had a cheaper option at one of the the corporates Food: 1 Service: 1

So disappointed, spend R400 on dagwoods and milkshakes for three people. We have been supporting Lollipop for over a year now, until now the food has been great. Today the dagwoods were so small it looked like a kiddies sandwich! We wil no longer be supporting you guys and we will not be recommending you to anyone else. Take aways are expensive and this is no longer value for money

Oh my word. Worst food I've paid for. Ordered the roast beef with rice, gravy, and vegetables. Gravy tasted so horrible. No flavor whatsoever, beef had no flavour aswell. It actually tasted a bit off and wasnt roasted just swimming in somw gravy im so confused. Then there's this yellow vege i cant figure out whether it's supposed to be sweet potatoe with vinegar, bitter and tasteless, Oh my God. The only thing i could stomach from this plate was the boiled Beetroot and the non seasoned potatoe. Very disappointing. Get people who can actually cook tasty food.
