This only a Loetje in name. Do not assume it is like Loetje elsewhere. The food was appalling, the wine is poor annd overpriced, and we subsequently got food poisoning. STAY AWAY. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €70–80 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Food was OK, nothing spectacular. Prices a bit on the high side of the scale, but overall everything has gone up these days so to be expected. We were there on the 4th of December, on a Sunday, and it's was not too busy so didn't have to wait long on being served. So why the 2 stars? Well I had a case of food poisoning after our visit. Looks like if you don't order steak, the chances of getting tasty food are small. Unhealthy food: too much salt and oil. Ordered virgin mojito, received some lemonade instead. Meal type Dinner Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Loetje was for my experience, only a name. This was my first experience, and I have to say that I was unfortunately left with disappointment. Service was not appropriate, food was not special, and the quality of the food was lacking. I heard so much had much higher expectations. August 2022 - Love the concept, almost always the locations. And looking at the amount of people who visit ... Must be good. The menu is predictable if you been here before, but that ain't a bad thing. Quality is good, portions are good, staff is attending and joyfull. They never disappointed me also not in Breukelen. Regular Dutch restaurant. Expect a nice venue but nothing greater. Burrata the size of a walnut. Unfortunately, we waited a lil over an hour for our food.. hoofdgerechten did come out warm and hearty... or maybe that’s because we had built a mouthwatering appetite.

We entered the restaurant when it was busy. We had to wait a whole me and received a buzzer from the hostess. Had a drink and some finger food whilst waiting to be seated. The decor is softly lit but cosy and warm. We ordered the filet steak XL some champignon, onions and a salad. This with French fries. The steak was delicious and so was the sauce (jus). I enjoyed my time and if I ever visit Brooklyn again, I would return.
