Cute spot with nice staff and good food. I enjoyed everything I had. I thought about the tomato soup/garlic bread and banana bread pudding the next day…and I’m not a soup person. Every single thing was good. I didn’t get to photograph the banana bread pudding because I got it to go. Maaaaan, it was dreamy. I can’t wait to go back. My mimosa was tasty and strong. Great spot to take for a date. Chill wine, great food and art all around the walls. They have plenty of drink specials and happy hour is M- F 3-7 pm. You get 25% off certain wines and appetizers. Staff was really friendly and the location was clean. Parking is very easy to find Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I stopped in for lunch last week and someone had recommended the Gouda burger, it was magnificent! I would definitely have it again. Today I just had the bruschetta- ok, tomato’s seemed like they were frozen and thawed vs fresh. Choices of tea bags. Nice place to enjoy a meal, tea and they have lots of wines. Perfect combination of wine store with small cafe. Wine selection is really good considering that's MoCo - kudos to the owners. It's like Fenwick Beer in the wine world. Portugal wine from here serve as a great combination with lamb stew from Whole foods. Please note that the parking is limited and you have to deal with all shoppers coming after groceries. As a bonus if you dine in you get a view of the ice ring and street performers in front of Civic building. Update June 2022: dining room is open, outside dining open too. Recommend to try cheese board with meat plus bottle - very good combo IMHO. It's about $50. Any sandwiches will be overfill YMMV. No reservations but you may try to call if looking for window seats. Update February 2024: good wine & service, any recommendations from 2022 still in place - cheese board+ meat upgrade+ anything you wish as a bonus. Suggestion to owners - instal glass along the entry door to block cold air incoming, would make seats close to door more comfortable. The food was fantastic. I went for happy hour and got a remarkably affordable and delicious cream of mushroom soup and beef sliders. I would absolutely buy both again. Nice thing about the spot is you can shop for wine while you wait for your food. It has more of a cafe and less of a bar vibe—I would describe it as fairly family friendly. I came back two days later for the huevos rancheros, which had the BEST roasted tomato sauce on their eggs. I have half a mind to go and ask if I can order a side of it to go the next time I visit.

Firstly the vibe in here is really nice, it does feel like a winery tasting room. There is a large selection of wines and the employees are very helpful. The food for me fell a little flat, it was delicious but not as much as I was expecting. I would definitely come here again. The Gouda burger was really delicious. The cheese board and the Cajun pasta were a big underwhelming.

I had lunch here today and it was good. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and you have to wear a mask when you’re not at the table. I tried their Jerk Salad and Prosecco, and it was very good. Half of this establishment is a wine store where they have wine tastings on Tuesdays. This is a cute neighborhood spot, I highly recommend.

I had a great lunch here with a colleague, and would definitely visit again. I got the penne pesto (without chicken + added portobello) which was excellent! I also got one of their side salads (they have many options) and a side of eggplant fries. To drink, I chose a glass of Sauvignon blanc that was light and bright, and the perfect addition to my meal. I had enough leftovers for lunch the next day, and everything still tasted great. The pricing was also really affordable for the size and quality. I also want to give a shout-out to Max, who was running the register as well as serving and bussing all the tables. He was very friendly and helpful, helping me chose a vegetarian option for my pasta and later, bringing us to go boxes. He was really great and made the experience even better.

Mac and cheese, gouda burger, shrimp old boy. It was almost perfect, amazing mac and cheese, burger cooked perfectly, delicious remoulade. Unfortunately, while the sandwich fillings were great, they were put into really cheap (or at any rate much less delicious) bread, it detracted noticeably from the meal Food: 4

Come for the wines. There is a large selection, as you should expect. What was unexpected were wines from the local area, Maryland and Virginia. The wines are by far the main event. The foods offered can support the taste of the wines but it is not the main focus and certainly not worth coming for on its own. The service was helpful and friendly. However, it was not busy when I was there. Conveniently located in the heart of Silver Spring. It is unfortunate this place closes at 9:00PM. This could be a good place to finish a fun evening.
