Had the schnitzel recommended to me and it was excellent. Perfect serving, tasty mushroom sauce, chips and fresh green salad on the side.
Hubby led me astray with wanting the citrus tart for dessert so had to help me out with eating the trio of cheesecake.
Friendly service, bit noisy with the bar busy so pleased we went in just after 6 for an early meal.

We went to Leo's bar and grill on Sunday. We got practical and simple menu-mains been chicken ,fish, steak, pasta, few burger options and few other bits. Normal prices, not over-priced like lot of other places. Next time i will take a picture as well. Ordered drinks and placed orders, staff was nice and friendly, specially guy behind bar (don't know name, have also to ask next time). We got crumbed Camembert as starter and chefs cut as main. Both been just pleasure. Place is massive, so I will expect bit of wait once it get full of people.
We hope the business will keep this level as theirs standard and wish them a great success in future.

Mid Canterbury Magic Leisure Marchers had a lovely Sunday lunch after training session. Food and service were excellent and Mark went out of his way to accomodate a team member with multiple food allergies. A lovely relaxing experience.

Have been twice now. Enjoyed both meals. First time went on my birthday had Tarakihi,chips & bowl of side salad & hubby had mushrooms on toast. Second time we went on a Friday & both had lamb fry, bacon yummy. All staff were very nice and friendly. Reasonable prices. Alot of Parking around the back if none out the front. Also has seating out front under umbrellas for those nice days/nights 🤗 . Can't wait to go back again & try some more meals

My grandstepsons birthday celebrated by relatives from both sides hosted by Aunt and Uncle at Leo's. Great food ,great company, majic evening. RECOMMEND.

Been here 4 times now and each time I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
I’ve tried several different options each time with everything being delicious! I highly recommend the Mac and Cheese Balls - my favourite option on the menu!
Kids meals came quickly and they also got a cool wee activity pack which kept them busy.
Fantastic staff and very accommodating. Mark has fantastic knowledge and customer service. All of the staff are kind and friendly.

We had a big group of people. You guys organized it so well. We had great communication from the time we booked. The food was amazing love the small menu with great choices. My fave is the musroom sauce on anything and the crumbed camembert 😋. Loved the team and we all really enjoyed our evening. Thank you so much 😊
Great staff and a reasonably good choice of drinks. But boy, did they miss an opportunity with the bar itself. How about making it homely or welcoming? The interior space is huge but its all set up as if its a restaurant. How about some partitions, sofas, comfy chairs. Even some interior decorations would be nice, and if they added soft furnishings, then there would be less echo. It's a real shame as this is now just a poor place to go and get a drink, and not somewhere to relax.
I took my sisters here for dinner. We booked but ended up coming early and they were really nice about it. The food was great and service really friendly. We are coming back on Sunday with my Auntie!

Really love having a place like Leos in Allenton and would like for it to succeed. A division in the middle of the restaurant would make it more welcoming, still very barnlike as before. Also very disappointed the coffee machine was turned off at lunch time! Fire wasn't warm enough on a cold day. Good luck on success in Allenton
