Worst meal I’ve had by far being in Rocky point. I forgot to take a picture of the moldy pickled carrots they brought to the table. Horchata & jamaica drinks were watered down. The shrimp felt refried x10 and very chewy not pleasant to eat. I think I ate maybe 2 of the shrimp. The rice was tasteless, tortillas were hard. I wish I had internet at the time to see the reviews before I sat and ate there. :/ Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–100

Monday. New Year's Day. January 1, 2024. Drink time. I had noticed this restaurant/bar driving by it since our arrival to Puerto Penasco on Saturday. It appeared to be packed every time we drove by. Locals seemed to be teaming here in droves. By Monday, my wife was Jonesing to drink a Michelada. I convinced her to stop here for a drink. This restaurant sits higher than the street, you have to either walk up the wheelchair accessible ramp or climb the stairs. It is an open-air establishment with a view of the street through the large, glass-less, "windows". A strong day of the dead theme encapsulates this establishment, but they did have some Christmas decorations up. I liked that they had Our Lady of Guadalupe hanging on a wall as well. Their menu features a black background with super colorful photos of their food and drink. The front cover had a Day of the Dead skull wearing a sombrero. It's a fun menu to look at. We both ordered Micheladas. Hers had Dos Equis beer and mine Tecate Rojo (as opposed to the Blue, which is Tecate light and has a watered-down taste for me). These Micheladas featured a goblet rimmed with salt and a straw surrounded by what appeared to be dried Chamoy sauce, see attached photo. This dried Chamoy looked like it had Tajin spices embedded in it. The goblet was full of hot sauce, ice, and beer. A sign by the beer refrigerator stated that their ice came from purified water. They brought out the 3/4 full bottles of beer with the goblet. They use a lot of hot sauce in the Micheladas. I liked this because they had a nice kick. As you drink the Michelada down, you add more beer and mix it with the straw. The dried mixture on the straw slowly dissolves into the drink. We tried Micheladas at three different establishments in Puerto Penasco. They were all made the same way. So, I deduce that is the standard Michelada recipe in Puerto Penasco. I liked this Puerto Penasco Michelada, although it differed immensely from the ones we drank in Ensenada, Mexico. The ones made in Ensenda had a liquid version of Chamoy sauce on the glass, along with Jugo (a dark Mexican sauce similar to soy sauce), lime, hot sauce, beer and ice. These Micheladas were much darker in color and more complex in flavor. I truly preferred the Ensenada (Baja version) of the Michelada. Although the Puerto Penasco version was good too. We paid 165 pesos for each Michelada, which equates to $9.77 each. Not a bad price. I wish we had had time to try the food and some other cocktails. We will re-visit this establishment next time we visit Puerto Penasco. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–100 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Great location, the stonework is appealing to the eye, making you think this place must be great. ... ☹️ Make no mistake: Terrible service, Food is literally bad and prices are through the roof. I am Actually embarrassed that we went here, it was that bad. Loud music with speakers pointed to the street to draw people in. Could barely talk. You'd think with all the reviews on how bad it is, they would attempt to fix it. Take it from me, they didn't. Perfect turist trap, great location and appealing to the eye. But make no mistake, service bad, food is worse and prices are through the roof. Save yourself some time and money. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100–200 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
This place is very attractive from a distance. I went with 2 handicap people, so I was happy that they had a ramp, but it was very steep. The location looked really big from far away but it's actually small, had only about 6 tables. I must say the Food was delicious. We had the flautas, enchiladas, chicken, carne asada quesadillas and cheese burgers. The only down side was the staff. They were not very helpful and a bit rude and cold. Looked nice from outside with dining al fresco. The service was terrible, about 40 minutes for seafood tacos. The fish tasted and smelled 3 days old. the frijoles were good, but so are everyone else's. Worst place to eat we found in Puerto Penasco. Service Dine in
DO NOT GO HERE!! I wish I had checked the reviews of this place before coming to eat. They served us moldy pickled carrots. After wards I was questioning everything I ate and made the experience worse. Don’t trust the salsas, don’t know if they serve you fresh salsa or salsa that has already been dipped in. Their Jamaica and horchata were watered down. Service was slow, and it took them forever to get our check. Pricier than most places on the street as well. The shrimp did not seem fresh, felt like it had been fried before. Take your business elsewhere. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–100

There's NOTHING like a flame broiled burger - absolutely delicious and I'm not a fast food person! Service Take out Meal type Lunch
We have been here twice, both times food was great! Service is ok, kind of slow, but there are typically only two people working. If you are in a rush, find somewhere else. But the bill never makes sense…. We had 6 people and payed $160 for tacos and quesadillas and sodas. Next time, we will calculate our bill as we go :)
Absolutely disgusting place for dining. The place is infested with flies, the service is slow beyond slow. When you're plates is out the waitress will deliveratly wait to go get it and bring it to you. The seafood comes out hot when it's taken to you instead of fresh. For example, if you ordered two things and both come out, the waitress will only go get one item ready and will later take you the other one. There's a space where if you are looking into the kitchen you can see when it's ready. The place looks nice, and I'll give them this, the plates looks picture perfect, but not only did my family and I have a bad experience but I could hear and see that everyone else that was dining there was miserable, and it wasn't even busy enough to have taken that long and bad of service. If you are a tourist here I do not recommend eating on any restaurant on the 13th street. Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–100
