Great little local and family owned donut shop. They have a great selection of yeast and cake donuts, and the donuts are huge! Great flavour in their donuts even though they are a little on the sweet side. The old fashioned and maple glazed were two of our favourites. Expect a line and it didn’t move too quickly, but we’ll worth the weight!

Best donuts I've ever had, the blueberry fritters are TO DIE FOR, I'd honestly say anything they make with blueberries (be it in the donut or their glaze) is the best I've ever had. All of their donuts are incredible, and the prices are all really good. 100000/10 best donut place I could ever recommend!

A couple of picnic style tables inside you can sit to eat, but it was a bit chilly inside. The clerk/cashier was very friendly. We got a Cinnamon swirl with maple frosting, a raspberry filled bear claw, and an old fashioned with maple frosting. They were all delicious. It may not look like much from the outside but their donuts are GREAT. This place came recommended so stopped by around 10pm on a Sunday. Even though it was almost closing time they had plenty of donuts and the donuts were still fresh. That means they must bake donuts all throughout the day. They have a large selection of donuts. If you like donuts I certainly suggest you stop by.

Very happy and friendly. The donuts are incredible and can't get any fresher. This definitely a place to go out of your way if you're looking for donuts and personally out Krispy cream donuts back in the bench. Prices are fair as well. Lafeens is pretty much the go-to place for donuts in Whatcom County. If you don't live nearby, it's worth a drive. I haven't hit them at the right times lately as they were just about sold out, but that's a good sign. I opted for a brownie this last time and it was as good as I anticipated it would be, of course! If you ask locals where to go for a good donut, Lafeens will either be the only recommendation or top of the list. I usually start with a basic glazed donut when I try a new place, but everything I've had from Lafeens is good. We have visited Lafeen's multiple times and unfortunately the last 2 times have been less than good. Our latest visit was on Feb 3, 2024 at 5:45pm and there was no selection of donuts, no donut holes, 4 brownies that were gone before we left. We asked if they were making anything else and they said no. By the time we left at approximately 6:10pm there was only long johns left. We left ordering the last buttermilk bar, 1 brownie and 1 Bismarck that was actually a Boston cream. They were all thrown in a single bag and we lost a most of the Boston cream icing onto the side of the bag. It is sad that a good place is going downhill. Lafeens donuts are that of fabled Bellingham lore. Don’t let the divey exterior fool you, this is the best donut shop (and cheapest) north of Seattle. Their old fashioned glazed are my favorite but occasionally I’ll get a little wild and go for a cinnamon twist or Apple fritter. Quick tip: if you want piping hot donut holes to give meaning to your otherwise meaningless existence, pop in there around 8:30 pm when they’re coming out of the oven. You’ll thank me later.
